I'm surprised nobody has given props to California yet...

bant

props for going against the people's will?
for a activist judge to decide what's best for the people?
bullshit man, the people have spoken

The people spoke about Jim Crowe and blacks shouldn't associate with whites...and extending them the different race right to marry was just crazy.....The Bible was quite clear that brown skinned peeps are servants and not equal..it's the curse of Ham! The founders went out of their way to avoid creating a democracy and structured the constitution to protect the rights of minorities against "A tyranny of the majority." The fed court system is a co-equal branch of government that was given the oversight role....just sayin'.

For the record, you oppose the civil rights decisions made by the courts? Just sayin.'

you own me an apology i was right on about this dude being an activist.
the dude is openly gaye

So if a straight judge ruled in support of prop 8 you would have called them out for being an activist judge? If a judge rules positively for gun rights and owns a gun is he an "activist judge." I think you have Bill O'Reilly syndrome...judges that agree with your position are doing their Constitutional duty and those making a different decision are "activist." We spent an entire class session in Constitutional Law discussing Marbury Vs. Madision....all judgments made at the fed level are activist and political!

how different are you based on your post?

you ask a question, then follow it up with an assumption based on an answer you don't know.

1) The government shouldn't be subsidizing marriage with rights and/or tax benefits regardless of gay or straight.

2) The judge's activism is part of a larger narrative sending a message to voters that what they think doesn't count (healthcare bill, suing AZ over illegals policy, CA prop 8, etc. etc.)

Did the fagz win something else?

When you consider the fact marriage as an institution is shit and divorce rate is high, fagz suffer a net loss on the whole deal. But hey if they want to suffer through marriages and divorces then im all for equality.
