I'm Old And Fat!

Ok, I thought u were mid forties nelson, not 58. Damn. Ok, I went to the doc and at 6'5 250 , 13% bf said I needed to lose 45 pds so i'd be in 'healthy' range. Do u know what the f%$k i'd look like at 205???? He said my heart doesn't know the difference between muscle and fat.... well, I know the difference. I'm at 11% now and as unhealthy as ever I suppose.

At 6' 5"? Pretty fucking skinny! lol

It is true that at some point, weight is weight. It doesn't matter if you're 4% bf, if you're 320 pounds, it's a strain on the heart. But if you're at 13% bf and 250 at 6'5', I'd say you're just about right bro.

For those of us in our mid forties it's good to know you can stay healthy and in good shape into your late fifties, you're an inspiration Nelson. I have a doc who while he did put me on trt when I got low test results, when I went back after 3 months and told him I had testicular shrinkage he refused to prescribe hcg as he didn't know enough about the subject. Go figure

Nelson you need to get back in the game (muscle memory is a wonderful thing)

Never been out of it! The main difference between now and 15 years ago is back then it was all about gaining size. (Since I was a scrawny hard gainer), At this point it's more about maintaining - staying in shape and avoiding injury. But yeah, a little "treat cycle " now and then would be appealing.

It's true your heart doesnt know the difference between supporting 250lbs of fat ass and 250lbs of a lean muscle. The difference is the clogged arteries, diabetes, and cholesterol that comes with being a fat ass.
