This is ridiculous but here it goes....
We recently moved offices to a great location right in the heart of Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA. The building is directly across from 24hr Fitness. The talent that goes to that particular gym is incredible. Southern California has already been known for its hot chics but Newport Beach probably has the hottest chics per capita in the entire US. Those that live in S. Cal can attest to that.
Back to the story...my particular office is facing the door of the gym so I get to see the talent coming and going all day long. It's quite nice but very distracting. I bought a telescope so I can zoom in. I'm married but I'm also a guy with elevated testosterone levels and I like to admire a woman with a nice figure. I see nothing wrong with that. We're on the 5th floor and Fashion Island is above sea level so we also have an ocean view as well.
The wife stopped by unexpectedly to say hello last week and she saw the telescope in my office. She asked me what the telescope was for and I told her it was look at ocean and Catalina on a clear day. She went over to the telescope and asked me why it was pointed at the gym and not the ocean. I played dumb and blamed in on someone else in the office. She didn't buy it at all. She's been pissed at me since last week and I've been sleeping on the couch since. I honestly don't understand what the big deal is. I think she's taking this a little too far. I've tried to explain to her several times that men are more visually stimulated than women and that it's a natural physical response to check out a women. I don't cheat on my wife. I never have. She claims that staring at woman or checking her out is a form of cheating. I was like,"WTF"? Do all women think like this? What should I do?
