ok met her at a chinese joint and ate lunch, then went across the street to have ice cream (I know, the ice cream was a bad idea in this case and wont do it again). Shes super laid back and sweet and yes she needs to lose a few pounds (even by my standards). Great chemistry and whatnot and i snuck a kiss in at her car as she left (she had to be somewhere at 6 so I left it at that). Overall it was great and i will definetely call her again. I think this is another misconception and not accurate at all.

There are plenty of professional women in Latin America. Women go to college and earn their degrees just like the men do. Women participate in government and own their businesses.

This idea that the Latin American women who marry Americans are illiterate farm girls is completely wrong. Most of the women to get to meet, talk to and marry good American men are computer literate college women, most of them speak English.

This thinking that Latin American women only hold on to their values because they are not college educated or have no goals in life is WRONG. There are plenty of women in Latin America who earn more than their husbands. The value system is the same even then. I personally KNOW two women who are the bread winners in their homes in Colombia, they still hold the values they learned since birth...

YES, under the Latin American values a Man is ultimately responsible for making the money and a woman ultimately responsible to make the home. But there are plenty of couples who have a different arrangement, but their values still hold true.

EH, that's only true until she's had some babies, the marriage goes to shit and she realizes just how much money it takes to live in the style of which she's become accustomed, she doesn't make enough steady money in her "career" to have what asshole provides for her and the kids so it's just easier to stay married to the bastard and keep the main house, country house, the cars, the nanny, the housekeeper, the vacations with and without the kids and all music and sport camps for the kiddies.

A woman does NOT need to be illiterate and/or broke to know and exercise her role in a partnership. She just has to be raised to the values.

^ I think that's somewhat the point, the values that you parents taught you or the values you chose for yourself is what will dictate how you behave in your relationships.

I did not follow the lifestyle that my parents had - I followed the values of other families that I admired as a child and teen.

So you can never really know anything about a person until you learn on your own about them.
