Yeh, I don't know what the particulars are of the arrangement. I absolutely don't care where anyone gets their SO from, I just don't appreciate stupid generalizations on how terrible American women are (unless one HAS dated all American women-then I'm open to an opinion based on empirical fact). Victims are only victims because they allow themselves to be victimized over and over again (repeated behavior is something they have in common with assholes so I guess they're kinda made for each other).

Assholes are assholes because it's the easiest response to something they either don't want to deal with or don't like.

It seems to me - the assholes on this thread are more male then female if you look at the responses made toward Daves original post.

This was a thread about opposing points of view. Nobody was censored, edited or told they couldn't voice their opinion. Nobody was intimidated told to STFU over their opinion. Yes, there were opinions that were challenged, mines included. But for anybody to try and make any more of it than that is shameful. If we are really going to sit here and cry "sexism" over an open conversation where both men AND women, voiced opinions that appealed to all side of the argument. I'm ashamed of having give this thread any thought at all.

I'm going to read this whole thread again to make sure I didn't miss anything. But memory seems to tell me that the ladies used a lot harsher language than the men did ( ^ ).
