I bought a new bike

I finally went out and bought the baddest bike I've ever ridden, a 2003 R1. Gawwd Dayum, that shit is fast as hell and wheelies on command. The worst part of the bike world is the stunters though. I was at the lake this weekend with some boys I ride with and we were parked beside some guys who are really good stunters. They start talkin all kinds of shit to these other guys and some chicks too that were blading or driving past. (it's the cruising lake) None of these guys are over 170 pounds and the ones that are are just fat. It just kinda made me laugh (and want to rock somebody) that they thought they were tough just because they could do 12 o'clocks and destroy the bikes they spent 8 to 10 grand on. I hate loud and obnoxious people that cant back up what they say, unless they got a group of guys to help them out....and dont even get me started on the white gangster wannabes from the suburbs that hang around them too!!!

Yea, there are a lot of those squidly, M&M type wannabes out there. Just go out and ride with your gear on if that's what what you got it for. The stuntaz's are a mixed group at best.

I just read that it(r1) has a 180hp at 12500rpms (wow that is alot) How many pounds of torque does it have at those high rpms?

Yeah, a squid i work with just picked up a '04 R1. Pretty sharp bike. He has had it already for about a month now and still doesn't even have 200 miles on it. That is just sad. Darn squids. I can't wait til he gets it broken in and lets me ride it. I have my eyes on the CBR1000RR. I have always been a Honda guy and that bike is pretty sweet.

pussy bike? as in only pussies ride sportbikes? i don't think so.

there's nothing like the feel of the engine screaming at every twist of the throttle and begging for more. heart stopping acceleration to speeds that force you to tuck your head down below the windscreen and keep it there or your head will be shoved backwards violently. taking a turn and cutting in deep, the entire time the bike begging you to lean in more. hanging off the side of the bike at more than double a "sane" speed flirting with disaster around turns with the tires to the edge, feeling your back tire gently slide yet you don't even flinch, your knee grazing the asphault, the whole time knowing that you're leaned 1/2 degree from destruction....yet you and the bike want more. faster speeds, sharper turns, longer straights for full out acceleration to max speed, stickier tires so you can get even lower to the ground around a turn.....and when you're all done, the bike sits happily at idle, purring like a kitten, while you feel your heart begins to slow down and you catch your breath and wonder just how much further you can push it the next time.....

but i'm sure you meant pussy bike as in pussy magnet. right?
