hypothetical legal question

I have been a "lurker" on this board for some time now. I switched over from mesomorphasis and anabolic extreme. I have a friend who has gotten into a little legal trouble over "gear". Hypothetically, if one were wanting to leave the United States to avoid any prison time, where would be a good place to disappear. From what I understand, the United States would only try to extradite a person over a serious violant crime, not just selling gear. This person has many resouces, but has never left the states. He would rather leave the country and start a new life than face time in the pen. Feel free to email me with any suggestions if you are not comfortable giving such information on the board. All suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

If it is a serious enough charge the US will extradict (sp) over non violent charges (drug war in america). You need do a search to see what countries have no extradition laws. I think Switzerland is one of them, but I am not sure. You might also try countries down in the carribean because some of those countries will not extradict.

I have not gotten a passport before since I have never left the states either. That makes me curious as to what would happen should your friend try and get a passprot himself. Do they grill ya or run a check on you of some sort? If your friend has never left the country and needs a passport, that may be a problem.

Cuba has no extradition, neither does the Caman Islands.


Switzerland will probably not let you in as a resident.

He does have a passport. He went out and got one when he was being investigated, and after that charges were later pressed. When you fly overseas, do they run a scan on your passport or anything like that?

Anyone else. The usual was asking if I had anything to declare and why I was entering the country.

Do you know how busy they would be if they were running background checks on everyone at the airport.

My friend came in US 12 years ago with a fake Italian passport.He was caught in the airport.there is no way in hell you could get into US(airport) with fake paper
but its easy to get out !anyways he left US for Canada and recently left for Tripoli (from Pearson Airport>Toronto)and nobody checked his shit when he was leaving Canada.

There are alotta countries that wanna fuck with the US government and dont have extradition laws(Cuba= home to some blackpanthers and the Spanish separatists,N.Korea=home to red Jap army, Iran=anti Israeli groups etc...)
My choice would be Brazil !
When you marry a brazilian and have a kid there is noway they could touch ya!Remember that limmie train robber that did the biggest train robbery in England ? He lived in Brazil for 20 somethin' years ,they couldn't touch him while he lived in Brazil,he got busted in England a while ago.
In other countries you have to be somethin with big solid $ back up or some crazy ass terrorist to be worth the trouble.
I say your buddy better have more than 5 years in front of him or alotta fuckin cash to buy a residence permit cause I rather live in Sing-Sing then Amazon forests !!!!

Venezuela has no extradition.
Costa Rica is a famous place for criminals to go, don't know about extradition though.
