How to safely heat up an Ampule?

I want to heat up the oil in my Amp this time before injection. I tried running the syringe under hot water and that didnt work to well last time. Can I just boil some water, then drop the Amp in there and let it sit for 5-10 minutes?

Thanks,

Personally, i wouldnt drop a sealed amp in some boiling water... im not to keen on exploding glass shards =P either stick with running it under warm/hot-ish water, or "MAYBE" open the amp, and then stick it in some almost boiling water(taken off the heat source,) as long as the water stays below the opened neck(which might be a bit hard since amps are so small.) Anything ive ever received in an amp, i had no reason to heat up. Maybe someone else has had some more exp with this, but still wouldnt think dropping it in boiling water is a good idea no matter how you look at it.

i'm not 100% positive but i dont think it would be the best idea. If running the pin under warm runnign water didn't work i'd try microwaving some water and then putting the amp in there instead of some boiling water. Think about it the amp is gonna have a constant volume (1cc or 2cc). While you are increasing the temp, by placing it in boilign water, you are also increasing the atmospheric pressure. Without any place for the buildup of pressure to go you run the risk of having the thing pop. If you do decide on sticking it the boiling water just remember NOT to go drop a deuce. (lol Tony)

Maybe I'm not the norm but I don't understand why you would want to heat it up in the first place. I know the intentions of heating it up but I've never heated one up before. There's no telling how many of those Iranians I've used in the past w/o any problem or pain whatsoever. I draw w/ a 22g and shoot w/ a 23g or 25g. The've always gone in smooth.

Im trying to heat the oil up for a smoother injection. I drew it out with a 22g from the Amp which was a bitch, then switched needles and injected with a 25g. It took FOREVER to get that stuff in my delt. Way too long and I was pushing like a mofo. I figured if I could heat the oil up a bit, it would help.

If you're only shooting 1ml then try using a 1ml syringe. The area inside the barrel is smaller so you should be able to plunge faster. Alternatively, use a larger needle.

It's better to go in slowly than quickly, anyway. I've seen many recommend 1 minute per ml. I doubt I go that long but I do like a slow, steady injection.

it does help to get it thinner for an easier inj. the more you have to struggle with pushing it in the more chance of the needle moving around and then you've got more soreness to contend with. 25g is nice but i had to go to a 23 for a smoother inj.
