How do you men feel about make up?

I agree. I love it too, but don't wear it to the gym or the beach, for example. I wear some to work every day, but it's done naturally, like I don't wear eyeshadow or lip color to work at all. If I'm going out at night though to some type of thing worth dressing up for, you'll see me in a little more. I spend way more time on hair than makeup.

Even for night time occasions, you won't really catch me in as much makeup as the MAC girls. I'm not in to makeup THAT much....my gay best friend though, that bitch wears a TON. lol

wut some girls describe as "light" or "natural" makeup = preparation to conduct a clown's master class

just sayin'

To be honest, I would never show up to work makeup free. I mean, I see someone totally makeup free and I can't help but see that as a sign of laziness (at work, and I know I shouldn't do that...I can't help but think it for a second) It takes two seconds to throw on a little mascara.

Well I don't naturally have a black line across my upper eye lid lol But that's really it. No eye shadow, no lipstick, no crazy hot pink clown cheeks.

The pics any EFers have seen of me are all pretty much in the same makeup I'd wear to work, and I think it looks pretty natural.

No makeup is a sign of laziness, and it is a turn off, not just sexually, but life in general. Would a man who goes to work in a wrinkly shirt be taken seriously? No.

I wear eyeshadow but it's light natural peaches golds or taupe for work. I will wear lipstick as well but it's mostly light sometimes I will wear a dark lip colour but then on the eyes it will just be mascara.

My hair takes the longest if I am just washing it that morning and I decide to blow it out. I only wash my hair every 2-3 days and I use dry shampoo on the other days. Florida heat and humidity is a bitch to deal with when I was there for work it was a pain in the ass.

Agreed I am trying to find an artical a read a while back about woman in the work force those that wear the right amount of makeup get further in there careers then counter parts that don't wear any at all or too much.

Yeah I agree. I work with this girl who always rolls in to work with her hair soaking wet, no makeup, stockings bunches up at the ankles (p.s. this girl is 25, so I don't know wtf is up with the stockings, but that's besides the point lol). It leaves me baffled.

Wake up 30 minutes earlier and tidy yourself up before work.

And she wonders why after being at the museum for 3 months compared to her 4 years I got the promotion over her.

Looks like I'm not alone in that thought. Lol. Professionally, considering wearing makeup is a cultural norm for women, I can't help but receive the non-verbal message that the woman is either lazy, stern, or just has a "I don't give a fvck what the world thinks" attitude. Sort of like a wrinkly shirt like you said, or an unkempt beard.

That being said, I think makeup should draw attention to the woman, not to itself.

Natural means it looks natural doesn't always mean next to no makeup. Most men can't tell when you are wearing makeup. I wear it to work every single day. However the idiots I work with only notice if I wear a brighter lip colour they are like oh you have makeup on today. No your just a dumbass I wear it every day but you just can't tell cause it's meant to look natural.
