How do I measure up?

About two months ago I started lifting weights randomly 3 or 4 times per week. I weighed 135 and my 1RM bench was about 130. After about three weeks of this bad training, I started a 5x5 program. Now, two months later, here are my stats.

So my current stats are now:

Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 151
Bench: 165 5RM (maybe 190 1RM?)
Squat: 245 1RM
Bent-over row: 85 lb DB 5RM
Pullups: 5x5 w/ 30 lb DB
Deadlift: I am too ashamed
Military: 5x5 w/ 45 lbs DBs

Do I even measure close with other ~150 lb males on the boards, or in your gyms, in terms of strength?

You seem to be not too weak or strong!

How old are you - that matters quite a bit from 15 to 30 to 70 years!

Just stick with it. In your first year of training you can add a lot to your strength.

The important comparison is not with anyone else but with yourself at some point in the past. In another two months you should be able to look back at these lifts and note further improvements.

Never be ashamed of what you can lift. Next month the figure will be higher and if you avoid noting the weight then how will you know that you're improving. Many here consider that squats and deadlifts are the real measure of functional strength. Accept whatever they currently are and beat them next time around.
