Guys, help me out, are tricep kickbacks definately a waste?

Well, I never have problems with anyone on the training board (except that NClifter6ft6 guy??) and I don't intend to start now.

First, muscle shaping is a myth -- I think that Nate said that -- you can't "sculpt" your muscles to be a certain shape. That's straight out of every bodybuilding/training manuel out there.

Second, DL/Squats are great exercises... no doubt in my mind. For the most part, many, if not ALL of my female clients want a body like barbi... with hardly any muscle, but some shape to their body. Sure, hitting the higher rep ranges and putting them in a calorie deficit will probably stop them from getting any "wider" -- but it will also stop me from getting them to build any sort of muscle (as they really have none) on their entire frames....

What I have to do is calculate their diet out so I can have them eat cleanly, with enough calories to build the amount of muscle they need and not put on fat in the meantime -- it takes a hell of alot longer, but not impossible... and THEN, I have to pray they are eating correctly .. .as I'm not around them 24/7. ;)

There are other things I'm not mentioning or am forgetting to mention here as well... such as client's comfortability with a certain exercise... or thier coordination.

Basically, my clients get results... and if they follow what I write down for them... they get GOOD results fast (6-8 weeks). Which, I'm not sure I actually like... because right now I have more female clients than male... word travels fast huh? :)
