How about squats with legs stuck together? doesn't that work your "tear drop" region as well?

tear drop = front squats with toes pointed out 45 degrees, slightly shoulder width stance.

just about any compund leg movement with this stance will do the trick but front squats use less hams/glutes than back squats or leg presses.

Bad lighting was part of it. But once I start 2 a day cardio with clen I can lose up to 1-2% bf ew.

Btw my current avi is less than a week after that.

I am even more cut now. In 4 weeks I will be done dieting.

I would prefer for my own body to stay where you are at in your avi. You're already 10% bf or less in that avi pic. I'm like 12% right now. 10% is cut enoug unless you really want to get shredded, which is obviusly what you are going for. post pics next weekend sometime with an update, you swole beeotch.

i am sitting at around 9% right now. i have always thought i might like to compete someday so it makes sense to me not to make a fool of myself on stage and first give myself a trial run to c if i can get in contest shape. this way when i am ready i know exactly what to do and how long to give myself.

i have been 2 a few contests where the winners were ok but 2nd on down were horrible. u could barely see veins or abs.

remind me on the pics next weekend and i will.

This was yesterday at 237lbs. Abs are more visible. Obliques are coming in nicely as well. Veins are all over when I am pumped.

nothing. i dont believe in giving them direct work. i want to keep a small waist line with an exaggerated v-taper.

i think u get enuf oblique work from core exercises. i never do ab work while on heavy cycle. i like the size and shape of my abs. they are muscles just like biceps. if u work biceps hard and eat right they will grow. if u work abs hard what is to prevent them from getting too big??? so i just skip them

i always have felt that u get enough oblique work from core exercises such as deads, squats, standing presses, etc.
 
I don't see what you should feel badly about you put on a nice amount of size with not a huge amount of fat or bloat, a little yes but if anything you feel bigger because of muscle not fat.

You also have a freakish resemblance to the Shadow.

I have never done oblique either, but given the impressive physique I figured I would ask if you did them...

All I do for abs are cruches and leg lifts.

whats your waist measurement at your navel? looks like your about 28-30 right? That's my biggest downfall, i have obliques/abs but my waist is just thick from all the squatting and deadlifting. It takes away from the V shape and makes me look alot smaller than i am. ROFLMAO i just measured my waist....37" at navel and i have abs lollolol

it is about 32. it would be about 30 if i got into comp shape. lower back and lower abs are always the last to tighen up for me.

i never really deadlifted much until recently, except for stiff legged. but i actually prefer weighted hypers for my hams.

plus i have never went super heavy. this last year i have incorporated high rack pulls. I always wear a belt when i do rack pulls, standing presses, squats, and t-bar rows. i dont know if the belt helps keep the midsection tight or if that is a myth.

i think i am going to try to stay in shape this next cycle. i have it all planned out. i am not changing my diet. i am simply dropping all the cardio i am doing (2X ed) and that should be plenty of cals. i am going to keep a close eye on the mirror :).
 
i know you probably don't care as much about strength as you do size, but was just wondering how much your strength went up from that cycle. like a your sqaut at 5 rep max, or bench.
 
neither bro. I do an unorthodox standing closed leg squat with legs together. I find it gives me a nice pump, good stress on the tear drop region and works on my balance lol...I superset it will regular shoulder width squats

what do you think?

i am definitely stronger but it is more byproduct than a direct result since i train for size. i am not sure about regular squats but i am getting 225X15 for front squats. I just got 405X2 on bench today. it was a fluke that i even did it as i dont do any barbell bench presses of any kind for chest anymore. today was leg day and my friend needed a spot and i said what the hell i would give it a try. keep in mind that i have been dieting for the last 8 weeks or so and added 2 a day cardio 3 weeks ago. if i was fresh and not dieting who knows?

Ok, look those numbers are flat out...SICK...your photos, SICK. Reading this just brings a tear to my eye as I am SO far behind. :worried:

I did take some of your advice with training. I up the reps and dropped the weight and really focused on flexing the muscle being trained and I have NEVER had pumps like these before...EVER.

chest is looking sick bro, that is probably my most under developed body part, wish i could some day get some breasticles like that! ;-)

lay off the barbell bench. imo it is almost impossible to fully contract the chest with barbell.

That being said- what is your take on benching with cable machines for the added range of motion?

BTW-the first pic you are crazy shredded-looks great. I'm sure once your bf is down it will be even better after your last cycle..

they may have a longer range of motion (no more than hammer or db's imo) but it is in a fixed plane.
