Goal: Jacked inner pecs and thunderous biceps

So much for taking the weekend off....I woke up today and had a 4 egg omlette with Angus steak and got in the lifting mood.

Saturday 6/24/06

Flat Benchin' 135x10, 225x10, 295x5, 315x5, 335x5, 335x5, 355x1, 375x1, 385x1, 305x8, 305x7

Dips: bodyweight + 45lb plate x 3 sets of 12, bodyweight x 20

Good day overall, getting reconditioned to flat benching, triceps got some good conditioning work with the volume. 2 a days still planned starting Monday. The plan is to do olympic lifts, situps, calves, and some conditioning in the AM , then squats, presses, and lat work in the PM with some assistance. I want to start training the deadlift heavy too, so I will DL in the PM workout. I need to hit the grocery store because last time I trained twice a day I lost 15 or 20lbs within a couple months, and I don't necessarily want to do that right now, lol.
 
Lol Nice f'ing workouts, bro. Is this your 2d week of 6x/wk. workouts? How's it going? You seem to be feeling pretty good, even w/ the increase in workload.

You know, if you'd actually blacked out during front squats, you'd have grounds to join the Kill That Shit administration.

Since weekend, breakfast looks yuuuuuumy. I wish I had the ability to lose 15 or 20lbs within a couple months without really trying :P

You rent a uhaul on grocery day don't you? :FRlol:
 
All is well, I've been training, just got lazy with the online log....I will start posting my workouts again though...no lifting tomorrow, I have a wedding to go to, but I have to train on Sun, so no drinking for me.

The 6x a week was good, I made it through 3 weeks and went 5 last week, as long as I keep the calories high I am ok.
 
Lifted today Sunday 7/2/06

Back Squat: 135x10, 225x10, 315x10, 335x10, 350x10

Deadlift: 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 495x5, 550x1 (these were conventional, hook-grip, no straps and were the easiest deadlift session I can remember....I did 495x5 probably a month or two ago and thats the last I've deadlifted, my PR is 605x1, I would love to smash that in the next several weeks)

I felt great today, went to a wedding last night and I knew the banquet waitress from the gym, so I talked/bribed her into getting me 2 prime rib dinners, lol....then my date left half of her chicken, so I finished that off too.....no alcohol either and I layed off the cake.

The plan for the next several weeks is to back squat to a 10 on Sun, a 5 on Tues, and a triple or single on Thurs. I will be doing deads on Sun, and Mon-Fri still coming in for a light AM workout of some olympic lifts, situps, back hypers, and assorted crap with the heavier lifting in the PM....sorry if this gets a little frustrating to follow to anybody following along....I need to tweak a lot to cater to my body, so if anybody has any questions as to what the heck I am doing, feel free to ask.
