Thanks. I haven't trained for a big clean and jerk in years, the most I have ever C and J'd is 245-250ish. I've cleaned much more and I've jerked much more, but I just haven't trained the complete lift in a long time.

Push Press (to the front) 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 240x5, 255x5

Strict Standing Press (to the front) 200x8, 200x8, 200x8

Barbell Row (Pendlay Row) 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 245x5, 265x5, 275x5, 225x10

Incline D-Bell Press: 95'sx8, 105'sx5, 115'sx5, 125'sx5, 125'sx5 (I just got the urge to do these, they weren't originally planned)

Decline Situps: bodyweight + 45 x 2 sets of 20

Real good day today, I have a lot of room to move up in the push press, I haven't done them from the front in a little while....Pendlay Rows were good, I lost a good bit of strength on them, but it's been a couple months since I did them, they should shoot back up, I just couldn't stomach anymore chins for now. I wanted to do this workout tomorrow, but I'll be out of town from tomorrow until Thurs night with no way to workout, so I got it in...my shoulders and traps were sore from Sun and Mon, but I said fuck it and ignored it, I'm glad I did, I had a good night.

Post Workout, I stopped at a Convenient store and chugged a quart of milk in about 2 minutes and felt okay, however, it doesn't count as it was skim, lol.

That's alright, I jacked this thread myself long ago, lol, I might actually try that post-workout, instead of any food, I may consider just a gallon of milk....I handle lactose pretty well, but we'll see I guess.

I live on a dairy farm and love my milk.
Never tried the gallon in a hour thing but have done 1/2 a gallon easily under a minute as a dare.
 
Awesome to see someone have a smoking workout. I often have "one of those days" but never one of THOSE days. They're always the crumby, wore-out kind. LoL

Strict pressing, incline DBs, and you did curls the other day . . . I think you may be turning the corner. LoL One day, I want to open up this log and see "Leg Press, all the way half down, worked up to 550 + the sexy gym attendant sitting on top." LoL

Yea bigT, even if you didnt have room to move up, those are still some great numbers. When im done with my 5x5, i wanna switch it over to YOUR routine lol, run it for couple weeks and get back onto a 5x5 regimine again.

but damn bigt, nice numbers once again
 
Worked out this afternoon

Friday 6/23/06

Decline Situps: Bodyweight + 45lb plate x 2 sets of 20

Hang Snatch: bar x a bunch of various warm-up stuff, 135x3, 155x1, 175x1, 185x1, 195x1, 200x1, 205x1, 210x1, 215x1, 215x1 (these were good, I thought I got a little sloppy on the second to last set, so I did it again to my liking, which is why the two singles at 215)

Front Squat: 135x5, 225x5, 275x5, 300x5, 320x3, 330x3, 335x3, 295x10 (All I remember about reps 9 and 10 is doing them as I almost blacked out, lol, I feel if strength were the limiting factor, I could have done 20 reps with this, but I just couldn't breath, lol)

Dumbell Curl:50'sx8, 60'sx8, 65'sx8 (a curl is a curl, not much to say)

Decent day, was out of town for two days, did lots of driving and got shitty sleep, felt a little 'off' but I'm glad I trained, I'll probably take the weekend to eat and get on my normal sleep schedule and I may begin training twice a day on Mon.....I'll post a template when I think of one, lol. If I train twice a day, I am going to have to eat an obscene amount of calories, because 2 a days always melt the pounds off me.
