yeah, this makes me less smug my best friend of 11 years is a dude...that hasnt tried to hit it since like....10.5 yrs ago...

and will likely be the only person left when everyone else is gone (dead whatnot)...and the person that agrees mutually it would be best if there WAS an attraction because we can only really stand living with each other

I did have one guy friend tell me that he struck up a convo with me because he was attracted, but then realized we made great friends and he didn't want to screw it up with any kind of romantic relationship. What about that? Can't guys just decide that a chick is important enough to them not to go there?

I have a couple of guy friends that are very good looking. We've gone out and not once have they acted like anything but my friends.

Then you want them. They probably keep you around because much like girls, guys like attention too. I've strung girls along for nothing more than the ego boost, pretty sure we've all been guilty of that at some point.
