Ok, so my question is how to get the barbells from the ground to the pushing position. I can push like 80's or 85's or maybe even more, but I'm only able to pull and get into position with 70's. So I sit down with the dumbells in hand, resting on my thighs. I try and swing them as I lie down on the bench to get to the push positon but I always fail to get there with anything above 70 pounds. How do you do this correctly, and how does a spotter help you correctly?
