Deca and joint pain..please take time

Heawy

New member
After soon a year without real training and with instant pain in my elbow only i use it a little i ask you guys.

As a desperate attempt to get rid of my Elbow/tendon/nerve pain (no one never have given me diagnosis) i now wonder to try Deca for 10-12weeks in low dose. together with light training.

My question for you are: If i train without pain for say 12 weeks on 200-400mg deca Week. Lifting only at medium, will this then guaranteed makes my pain worse or CAN it help my pain heal..

Please bros im desperate in getting back shaped.

Pain will probably not get worse, but no guarantee it will "heal." Everybody reacts different. It may feel better when you are on cycle, but may go back to hurting after 12 weeks. How long have you had joint pain? Have you seen a Dr.?

I have chronic problems with elbow tendon pain over the years of training that I have done. Deca did little or nothing to help with this pain. I started taking some glucosamine and that was the only thing that i have ever found to help. So. I decided to rework my training program. I moved to exercises that did not put as much stress on my elbow. When training triceps I use several light warm up sets of 20 reps or so to loosen it up. Before training I put some flexal and a light wrap on the elbow. This helps keep it loose and keeps the blood fow to the are decent. If I have an swelling after training I will put some ice on it along with taking some advil. The moral of this story is if you are going to train hard you are going to have some pain. You have to learn how to train around it and take care of your body.,,,,, Hope this helps some

Deca alone is a temp solution at best. After your done the pain will come back. If you use the Deca with a rehab routine you should see some improvment. Good luck!

It helped my elbows/shoulders tremendously, but like usmc said, it reappeared upon discontinuation.

Deca does little for me when I have a joint problem.
I know it supposed to lube joint but really avoiding lifts that hurt or going lighter is only way you will truly heal.
Take 3000mg Glucosamine and be amazed how much it helps but it must be taken ED for about 2 or 3 weeks to feel benefits.

Deca's reputation as a joint healer is mostly myth. It bloats you and the water retention cushions the joints a little. Creatine will do the same thing.

Glucosamine,Condroiton, MSM and Vit C.

I agree with nelson...I also would suggest a higher dose glucosamine, much more than sedentary people use...you can buy it cheap at kilosports.com or beyond-a-century.com .... try 10g of glucosamine per day, along with what nelson suggested...

Can you tell us what you believed caused the pain?

I have a joint problem in my left shoulder for already 14 months. I did rehab for 6 months but no success. Last year November I started my deca+sust cycle. After 2 weeks the pain began to change, it was still there but different. The next 7 weeks the pain became less (I think about 60% of the pain was gone). My last deca shot was end of December. At this moment I still have a pain in my shoulder, but definitely much much LESS. Deca did a really great job for me.
