Cottage Cheese and whey for LEAN mass gains?

Just wondering what you all thought of eating cottage cheese mixed with whey as a pre-bed snack? I know its a great source of casein etc but does it have its place in a cutting/lean mass gain diet, or will the dairy make you sloppy?

I have found myself that as long as I don't overdo it, it helps fill out the muscle without causing any water retention likes carbs can do to sensitive people.
 
Cottage Cheese blended with a CASEIN protein is my favorite pre-bed snack when I'm bulking or last meal of the day when cutting. Definently check the label...just be sure it's the low fat cottage cheese (cottage cheese can have a lot of saturated fat) and not one of the brands that's too high in carbs...sugars.

I think the cottage cheese/whey blend is fine on a lean bulking cycle (although I think the cottage cheese/casein blend is better or whole meat is better). On a cutting cycle, I don't think whey protein is optimal before bed...whole meat (low saturated fat) is probably the best with the CC/Casein blend another meal to consider.
 
I typically get the low fat low sodium "friendship" CC. I seem to get decent results with it.... I just wanted to hear some of your opinions on how it seems to affect your fat loss etc in a cutting diet.

Yup I get the same kind with the white dove on it.Always made me wonder who the hell made that shit with the gay ass name lol.
 
low fat no salt cotage chesse and whey protien is an excellent bedtime meal
have some healthey fats with that and your golden in my opinion
i eat lots of cc i think its a good postable simple protien
