Responses depend completely on the situation, obv. Some things call for your mouth to open while others its better if we STFU.

If her relationship with you as a friend starts noticeably changing and its effecting the way you guys communicate/interact then that will be a stepping stone for you to voice your concerns. But ONLY voice them in relation to you, doing this with open arms and an open EAR may yield good results.

Never insert your opinion on their relationship unless it directly has something to do with you. You will be locked immediately from any and all convos about that topic IMO.

Red is right, but at the same time you are going to lose her anyway. This man will start to tell her how you are not a good friend to her for a,b,and c reasons. Slowly he will isolate her completely. When she finally wakes up, she may not see a way out because she has no support.

You can do one of two things: Tell her your concerns and face the consequences or keep your mouth shut and watch it all go down. Either way, after this marriage your relationship with her will never be the same.

Yeah that's scary to me too. I didnt even say much during lunch bc I couldn't find the words. I was totally tongue tied from the shock.

And I don't necessarily agree with Red. Ya never know, maybe she was telling me because she loves him, but this is hard for her and needs support/validation that it's ok to get out if that's what he wants. She may just be looking for someone to tell her not to bc she's not strong enough to admit it to herself.
