I agree. I wasn't going to say anything because sometimes that is a lesson best learned. I made a similiar mistake 6 or 7 years ago and lost my friend. Since then I've stuck to the rule that if it's not my business then it's not my business.

So I just had lunch with one of my best friends, and she pretty much told me that when she gets married in December, she and her fiance plan on entering in to a "Christian Domestic Discipline" relationship a.k.a. she and her fiance have agreed that he may physically punish her when she does something wrong (but she may not punish him back).

I mean if that works for them, good for them, but I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid in said wedding in support of a marriage type I don't actually support.

No subz, she didn't put this out there publicly. She told me over lunch today (just me and her). The wedding isn't til December, but I'm positive she isn't telling everybody.

They're both hispanic (I know that's not a race). Her family is super white washed though.

Friends are supposed to accept each other for who they are. Whether or not you agree with her decision is irrelevant here. If this is what she wants you shouldn't try to change her mind. If you don't agree with it fine, but she confided in you because she assumed you'd understand and not judge her.
