But I don't think you can use the bible to find scripture. Christ said you are to love your wife as Christ loves the church.

I'm not bible scholar but i do recall there is something in there allowing you to hit your wife or something like that.

I have no idea, to be honest. She didn't even say spankings, she just said he could physically punish her, but from what I've read online most of it seems to be spanking. I've read a couple stories about slaps across the face, I've read nothing about kicks or punches though.

I read one soon after I got home about this woman who had a habit her husband apparently did not like. And he hit her across the ass with a belt like 15 times or something (ouch), then gave her "reminder" punishments for the next 2 weeks, even when she wasn't continuing whatever habit it was. So by the end of this woman's story she was all "I'm so happy he punished me for it, because I'm a better wife to him now" nonsense.

well I use to Youth Pastor and I have studied the scripture a lot, and I have never read or heard anybody teach on hitting your wife. I have never even heard a denomination that would teach this.

WTF, no vag sex, how do these people even find anybody that would follow them. If someone told me to be a part of there religion and not have sex with my wife, I would bitch slap them out of my house
