Break from training due to illness

Right, Ive been training mon-fri for four months wouthout any breaks. I got a nasty flu last week and ive not been to the gym all week... how much will this screw me? Or will it do me good to have a week break? Just curious as to your thoughts.

you'll be fine.your poundages will be a little lower when you first get back but you'll be back to normal in no time.
 
The break will do you good, especially after four months. Will give your body some needed recovery time. Don't sweat it dude.
 
a rest will do you good... and i bet after a week or two you'll be feeling stronger than before the rest.. you body composition will not change in a week.. (or even two) ... just make sure to get enough clean food to help yourself recover (if you can keep it down)...

(most smart trainers will schedule a rest week into their program every few months... this may be something you want to make a habit)
