did like 12 years active then took a position in-state with the reserves so he could continue. Over 30 years total now.

its not 8 years of active duty , its 8 total consisting of 4 active and 4 inactive ready reserve. 8 years is standard for your first enlistment.
so just stick to being a bitch , the military is prob better off with out you.
