Blender Question!

What is the best home blender for mixing protein drinks. Our $29 blender has just bit the bullet. It lasted a whole three months + it sucked. I've been looking at some online stores at different brands and models. I know you guys can lead me in the right direction. Need one the powerful, easy to clean and will last. HELP?

For protien shakes I generally use a Wal-Mart cheapo, and replace it every year or so.

PowerBuilder.... I was planning on dropping 4 DB's with each shake. Just kidding. No, kind of wanted a high end blender. Not commerical grade. Thanks Bro! Also, the late night shakes were waking my pregnant wife up. Man, that thing was loud!

Cuisin art is very good and you'll have no complaints, but before you lay out that cash, I would grab the yellow pages and look for a restaurant supply store. Most of the ones I have been to have brand new, high end, restaurant quaility stuff, and it's around the same price as cuisinart. Most of them also have a used section so you can get a great one for cheap. Just something to look into.

I can't even believe you guys use blenders. Get a freakin shaker, it takes like 1 minute to shake it all up and then drink it. Cleaning is a lot easier than a blender.

Naw bro, it's real. It's a handy little blender, you drink directly from it. You can unscrew the blade, put a lid on it and take it to the gym, in the car, whatever. Dirt cheap too.
