been to a haunted house yet?

went in with 2 of my girlfriends. 2 minutes in and i wanted out! i fell for EVERYTHING. and the other two weren't any better. everybody came after us, or so it seemed. i don't know how far in we were but Brit broke down in tears. she shut her eyes, grabbed both out hands again and didn't open them until we we were out(which i might add took an excruciatingly long time). now we all have bruises on our hands and arms from hanging on to each other so tight.lol

oh and wtf. they weren't to touch anyone if they weren't touched first. bastards!

no more haunted houses for me again..eva!

LOL....but scardycats like you make it all the more fun for everyone else. As soon as the staff discover you're a screamer they definitely target you! :lmao:

yeah, a few really loud squeaks escaped every 2 seconds.lol

it sure did feel like the whole damn staff came after us thou! thats why Brit broke down.

we looked a mess after. as soon as we realized we were completely out, we ran/walked to the car!

Oh I bet they really did. My husband got a job at the Tom Savini haunted house a few years in a row a while back and they're instructed to go after the screamers. The screaming raises the tension level and scares all the other patrons all the more.

yea, but that was my first chainsaw attack chase ever in haunted house. and i didn't notice the no chain thing. we ran for it. i think we were screaming the whole time while running too.lol

my heartbeat has never been so irregular. i thought it had completely stopped at one point. i suck at haunted houses:(

and i was so pumped at first. was just gonna walk though it and laugh at everything....
 
you havent seen nothing til you been to the House of Shock here in Nola. it was rated the #1 haunted house by the Travel Channel

Ebony, what is it with blaques and haunted houses? I went to that Alien Invasion "ride" at Disney World. I knew there was a problem when they strapped you down in seats that did not move.

At the end of the show, they had to carry two or three blaque ladies out of the ride. They were out cold.

Cultural - heavy belief in the spirits???? When I lived in Africa, they were heavy into the spirits - voodoo etc.

Enlighten me dear.

Way up on the northside in Norcross. No where near the airport. It's good, but you really are going to need to be into the whole haunted house thing to make the drive and the wait in line worth it for you.

From downtown, jump on 85 N & go just past spagetti junction to Jimmy Carter Blvd. Exit there & turn right, then right at first light, another right down a parallel access road about 1/4 mile.. you'll see all the freaks on the left. Go on a week night to avoid the cluster

lol. IDK if its a cultural thing, i think we're just one of those lame scradycats that gets sucked into the moment quickly. set the atmosphere and bam. i'm one of those peeps that has nightmares for a week after a scary movie.....the one that always falls for pranks and stuff too.:(

as for spirits, if you asked me know i'd say no i don't believe they exist. BUT just like the haunted house, i knew it was all fake, but still......

oh and we weren't all black. one of my chicas is chinese, italian and black. and the other one is Puerto Rican.
 
There's some around here that last 1-2 hours and have alternate routes depending on the decisions you make, awesome.
