Barry's Gun Ban List

Ya every damn gun I own is on that bish

And then giving the AG the right to ban and seize at will lol

wtf

good thing there is no record of me buying my firearms..

Precisely why a gun ban leaves guns in the hands of criminals, while law abiding citizens do not seek to obtain illegal weapons.

Crack is illegal, so I don't do crack, but gangbangers sell crack.

Allegedly. I wouldn't trust this source, but I found it interesting.

If it's even close to accurate, we've got a problem.

Here it is, folks, and it is bad news: Obama?s Official Proposed Gun Ban List | Alan Korwin | RedFlagNews.com

That's the beauty of right wing BS. It doesn't have to be accurate to get all you red necks foaming into your old Milwaukees and talking about seccession and prying guns from your cold dead hands.

That list from the the 2007 failed house bill.

It's failed cause of foamy mouth rednecks raised hell. That would have been a left wing bill!

I'm not really buying into this list either. This shit seems to pop up every once in awhile. But since we're on the subject why don't you tell us rednecks where you stand on this issue?

My first words were that I don't trust it.

Noone is so stupid to think that bill would stand a chance (i would hope) in being passed.

But yes, since we're all uneducated rednecks who only have our God and guns, do please inform us of your stance on gun control.

Yes of course it was a left wing bill. But there is no support for gun bans, even among those damn liberal commies.

And the assault weapons ban is nothing new. Assault weapons were banned from 1994 to 2004, and if I recall correctly, the world didn't come to an end because of it.

I'm not a gun owner but I believe in the right to bear arms.

I also know that gun rights in this country are stronger than they ever have been, thanks to recent supreme court decisions.

As far as complete gun bans, anyone who is afraid of them is out of their mind paranoid. It can't happen. But I know when you say "gun ban" and "Obama" in the same sentence, we got us some hillbilly ass puckerin' goin on.

The supreme court has left open the possibility of some controls on weaponry. Which is nothing new. You can't go to walmart and buy a machine gun or an RPG. And most Americans are happy about that.

I don't care if assault weapons are banned, but I'm not sure I support the idea either. I'm a scientific man, and I make decisions based on data if possible. From what I can tell about the 10 year assault weapons ban, it had no clear effect on crime. If you can't justify a law based on data that it will help, then it probably isn't justified.

On the other side of the coin, the Aurora theater incident is the kind of crap that can get you thinking about why do we need those guns?

So, I'm undecided on the assault weapons ban reinstatement.

i do not have the stamp.. but it's kept in a dis assembled mode all the time..

except when i shoot it at the farm..

I take basically the same stance on gun control. No one in their right mind would think it a good idea to sell fully automatic weapons at Walmart or where have you. Where we differ is the assault weapons ban. That bastard in Aurora would've likely committed mass murder regardless of if it was with assault weapons or not. And as you said, the assault weapons ban had no positive effect on crime whatsoever. So what is there to support?

And just because we don't need them today, doesn't mean we'll never need them. What gives one man who works for the government to possess that gun but not myself or any other law abiding citizen?

That fucker in CO would have obtained those guns regardless of their legality.

The second amendment isn't just in place so that we can hunt or carry concealed etc, so the question 'why do we need assault weapons' isn't even relevant to those situations. I've never needed an AR15 to take out a whitetail deer, and I did it with a single shot bolt action 270. The second amendment gives us the right to keep and bear arms, because there is a chance we'll have to use them to overthrow a tyrant government (again) and I'm definitely not going to be shooting back at fully armed oppenents with a fucking deer rifle.

Yeah, there's that minor detail too

I might sit back with a International AW50 though and sniper them tyrant gov..

Anybody else getting tired of gun banning, birther, freedom and other stupid non-existant issues. Gun sales have gone up dramatically since Obama took office and gun manufacturers are making record profits. I'm a gun owner myself but I don't understand why individuals would want to own guns on that list unless they are planning on fighting an imaginary invading army like Barbados or St. Lucia or joining an anti-government militia in which case I would ask a simple question, The U.S. military took out Japan, Germany and Iraq, who the fuck are you?

Remember how England owned the U.S. and destroyed all world opposition because of their superior weaponry and structure?

Then they pissed off a bunch of civilian farmers in the colonies, who revolted and beat their ass?

Don't they let you read in prison?

I really want an MP7, but I'd have to have a class III license to get it, and the ammo is hard to find. That would be the best weapon for personal defense.

It's not hard. A little pricey, but you can apply and get it in around 8 months.

And how exactly is this relevant now? You think the U.S. military, navy and airforce is not capable of squashing that little Island in a couple of hours? I'm sure they'll be calling on you for help.

You don't need a class iii license on it. You need a class iii dealer to transfer it to you and fill out the required batf paperwork and pay the tax stamps on it. Register it in a trust and the wait time is much shorter and you can pass it on to your kids when you die.

You fucking moron.

England is not the world power I'm concerned with today.

God damn you are pathetically stupid, to the point I almost pity you and understand how you could possibly get yourself locked up

This. The tax stamp isn't that bad either, usually a couple bills.

Full autos are ungodly high priced though. At least good ones are.

M240G is in the 25k range lol

It's $200 per stamp. Some guns can have multiple stamps. Then whatever your class 3 dealer charges for transfer....typically $75-$150

yup.

one of mine had a supressor on it so just for the stamps I paid 400 before I ever paid the first dime for the gun.

And most dealers charger like 140+ for transfers lol unless you know someone. Or i'm just getting fukt

I mean fuck i saw "threaded barrel" on the list, what in the complete shit? wouldn't that outlaw every single firearm on the planet made after the 1860's? I'm no gun nut so i know barely 1/4th of what was on that list, but c'mon common sense people.

No, it wouldn't.

But agreed with the rest.

Many people don't understand that the second amendment was never for game or hunting, but to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. Which we have, and it's not because Obama is in office. It would be the same if Romney got it, two sides of the same coin.

Stupid fucking ass puckering rednecks we are for wanting to protect the 2nd amendment.

fixed. That was really the best part can't beleive you left that out. I had to put the keyboard back on the table and take a minute after hearing "ass puckering". Shit there it goes dammit now i'm lauging agian.

i believe this ^^^^ to be at least a little bit true...that said, if there ever is an assault weapon ban, it will have no effect on my life what-so-ever...that said, it will also have no effect on the life of criminals what-so-ever...THEY'RE ALREADY CRIMINALS...THEY DON'T FUCKING CARE ABOUT NO STINKING GUN BAN...a gun ban will just make new criminals out of people who were perfectly legal before the ban...this is the truth...that is all.

keep being agreeable with me and we might just keep you around, boy
