My cousin is serving a 22 year sentence in Texas for Attempted Murder, Arson. He was on his 1st year of probation (he had 10 yrs) when he did this.

Hey Buck, I got a similar story. My cousin beat some guy with a golf club at a gulf course one day. And he was already on probation. The guy almost died. Now he's got like 15 years left. Gotta be able to control that temper!!!

Yes, a friend from high school is currently serving the second or third year of a 8 year stint.

He was on probation (God knows what for), when his mom died, and he went on a five day drunk, and missed his appointment with his parole officer. The judge threw the book at him, and landed him a Texas big house.

I've been trying to find out which prison he is in, but no luck.

My JUCO hoops teammate just got busted in the Long Island coke ring. A really good kid and a better fighter actually. In 1997 we had a bench clearing brawl against Dominican College. We all did our part in pummeling this team that started it all because we were beating them 34 - 3 after 10 minutes. I watched this kid mash at least five guys, all in sequence. Kind of reminded me of the ridiculous combonation in the movie "Perfect Weapon". Anyway, he'll be gone for a while. Tribute to the frenchman! Peace.

Actually, they live in Hawaii while I'm on the East Coast. Forgot to add..you'd be surprised how much crime there is in "paradise."
