I got level 4 stress fracture in my left leg and level 1 in my right from running too much. I was trying to prepare for EIB testing. This was about 3-4months ago. I stopped running for about 3 months and im slowly starting to get back into it. The program the PA gave me says to run every other day letting pain be my guide. It started off a 3mile walk at own pace then 1/4mile run 1/4mile walk for like 2 miles. Now im on 1mile run, 1/4mile walk(3x). But i'm still not able to run every other day. I need about 3-4 days off before it doesn't hurt when I start running again. So are there any worthwhile supplements to improve my bone density? I feel like a shitbag not being able to do an APFT or do company runs, run on cement, etc. I have to use a cushioned track or else it'll hurt.
