Any of you fgts into quadracopters/drones?

Been looking at getting one for a bit now. Seems like they've come a long way in the last year or so.



I think I saw plunkey had one he was messing with, but that faggot isn't around anymore.



So anyone else got a drone/quadracopter?


I plan to use it for photography.

A good friend of mine has one he also uses for photography. Also takes it out on the boat a lot for aerial views.

I've seen they have ones that you can mount a DSLR to...


I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel about strapping my $5000 camera/lens to it though so I'm looking more at one to use with a go pro on a 3d gimbal mount.

It'd be pretty cool I think. The gopro takes surprisingly decent pics and vids

My dad gave it to me, I haven't used it yet tho.
