I would be surprized if you didn't lose your mind with all the scary changes going on in your life. If it would make you feel better to go and talk to a professional then I say do it. But don't feel like you are nuts. Matter of fact, it's very normal to feel what you are feeling.

LOL, isn't this an example of displacement? Not the most mature coping mechanism, but also better than alternatives. I think is is a message: you need to someone take some time for yourself. You've been so busy in the last month to month and a half that of course you're going to stress out. U need some time for yourself...say the 17-19th in Orlando?


P.S. I'm the worst at misplacing remotes. Any discount store has them for 9 bucks.

i got mad because my son temporarily lost one remote (left it in his bedroom where it doesnt belong) and the other one, he used it wrong and then it was all screwed up and wouldnt work and boy did that set me off for some reason.

the reason it set you off has nothing to do with the remote.

with any luck managing my schedule at work, I'll be on a pre-planned trip to Door County, Wis that weekend. or not, who knows.

well, not exactly, but I do know once in a while I get totally mad at my kids for something and later I realize i blew it way out of proportion because I was really mad at something else. Then i go and apologize and explain that I had a really bad day.

listen to this - my son was playing with the pieces of the remote and put it all back together and now it works LMAO it didnt work before i threw it. lol the kid's a genius.
