Just a quick summary I am a 35 year old man started off at 350lbs now down to about 202lbs.
I am torn as to what to do I have a load of excess skin(you will see in the pics) that will need a tummy tuck doc has just referred me(fingers crossed) With every pound I lose it gets worse.I realise I am still "fat" esp around the lower back and sides of chest but lean was never my goal at the start,I just want to be a big solid bloke with huge arms shoulders chest and a vaguely normal size waist, more like a typical meathead than a bodybuilder. At the moment I am neither lean, muscular, slim,or obese I kind of fit no description I feel in no mans land
What would be the problem with trying to add some mass from where I am now my waist is now around 36" and I am happy with that kind of fatness but I would be happier to have a shitload more mass(some of the before pics in some of the transformations would satisfy me)
I see a lot of fat blokes that seem to have huge size and depth that I just dont, all the weight lifting i have done has been while dieting so I have never actually tried to put muscle on as such will I just balloon up to the fat guy from before or can I acheive some considerable size without being fatter.
At the gym I use it seems 90% of the people their are on AAS and a few people have mentioned running a basic test cycle to add some size then worry about more cutting later.Could a cycle help me at my stage I am new to all this but at 35 I would like one shot at being the kind of big guy I see in my head,I dont expect to be ripped ever or even look that good to most but I would like to be huge in the right places
Below are a couple of pics of when I started and now dont be too harsh I still have a lot of fat to lose but the loose skin makes me look fatter than I am I think, what bodyfat would you say I am at the minute I have no idea
Sorry the post is a bit long
Great job gbone, thats quite a transformation!! Many overweight guys i see use an overkill of supps (t3, clen...) and do half as well as you. Kudos and Karma to you! You seem to have thought this out pretty well. I'd support you anyway I can in choosing to enhance your body. Be smart and be careful. You picked a good place to come learn.
These murky waters are in fact crystal clear
