Am I too fat to think about bulking or even a cycle?

Just a quick summary I am a 35 year old man started off at 350lbs now down to about 202lbs.

I am torn as to what to do I have a load of excess skin(you will see in the pics) that will need a tummy tuck doc has just referred me(fingers crossed) With every pound I lose it gets worse.I realise I am still "fat" esp around the lower back and sides of chest but lean was never my goal at the start,I just want to be a big solid bloke with huge arms shoulders chest and a vaguely normal size waist, more like a typical meathead than a bodybuilder. At the moment I am neither lean, muscular, slim,or obese I kind of fit no description I feel in no mans land

What would be the problem with trying to add some mass from where I am now my waist is now around 36" and I am happy with that kind of fatness but I would be happier to have a shitload more mass(some of the before pics in some of the transformations would satisfy me)

I see a lot of fat blokes that seem to have huge size and depth that I just dont, all the weight lifting i have done has been while dieting so I have never actually tried to put muscle on as such will I just balloon up to the fat guy from before or can I acheive some considerable size without being fatter.

At the gym I use it seems 90% of the people their are on AAS and a few people have mentioned running a basic test cycle to add some size then worry about more cutting later.Could a cycle help me at my stage I am new to all this but at 35 I would like one shot at being the kind of big guy I see in my head,I dont expect to be ripped ever or even look that good to most but I would like to be huge in the right places

Below are a couple of pics of when I started and now dont be too harsh I still have a lot of fat to lose but the loose skin makes me look fatter than I am I think, what bodyfat would you say I am at the minute I have no idea

Sorry the post is a bit long

Great job gbone, thats quite a transformation!! Many overweight guys i see use an overkill of supps (t3, clen...) and do half as well as you. Kudos and Karma to you! You seem to have thought this out pretty well. I'd support you anyway I can in choosing to enhance your body. Be smart and be careful. You picked a good place to come learn.

These murky waters are in fact crystal clear:dolphin:

At this point I'd say stick around here a few weeks, read everything you can (including the sticky's in the training and diet forum) and decide what you want to do after that. I think you're pretty much ready you just need to educate yourself a bit on AAS and PCT and you'll be good to go. Great work!

The good thing is that your chest at least will start to fill out once you start to put on mass.

great job!

one point, if youve been training for 9 months, there is no way you will have depth and size yet. it takes years. keep doing what youre doing and it will pay off.

I never used supps at all because I think for the most part they are bs I didnt get fat because of a lack of supps so adding them didnt seem the answer

I hope so my chest is almost non existent now:D I do work it honest, its strange its like I am skinny in places and fat in others my hip bones and chest plate esp then ive got this loose hanging belly(pretty picture).I just feel a lot more mass at the minute wouldnt be a bad direction to go,its funny I didn't give a shit at 350lbs now I am more paranoid than ever about how I look I feel kind of odd, weight loss is a funny thing

I'm 31yrs old and have been working out hardcore since i was a feshman in HS....let me do the math..... 15-16yrs. I'm still not happy. My wife tells me I'm crazy but i wont even take my shirt off in public.

well i for one would say just start bulking...your onviously not trying to be a 30 in waste guy...yoru better off just bulking putting on some mass and filling out that skin...i wouldnt get the tummy tuck until your at the size you want to be honestly...you put on 40 pounds of muscle ur body may compeltely chanage

I dont want to be lean at all I just want to be big and solid .The problem at the minute is I am doing things right but because of the skin and still my bodyfat I dont seem to be appearing leaner, the last few inches off my waist have just made the skin worse to be honest mind you I started off at a 56-58""waist and since it got below 40" or so it seems to get saggier:worried:.Like I acknowledge by bodybuilding standards I am fat but cutting and cutting isnt helping its just making me seem flabbier in places

Don't be in too much of a hurry to get the tummy tuck. Since you lost weight so quickly, it may take some time for your skin to catch up. Time certainly won't take care of all of it, but I think you can expect to see some improvement. I'd give it a year or two before finalizing any plans. If you are able to add some lean mass, that will help too.

I think I'd say the same about a first cycle. Your body has been through a lot lately, I think it would be prudent to slow down and see what kinds of improvements you can make just by tweeking your diet and training.
