it seems like as I continue to grow year over year I continuosly have to adjust my pillow size. i guess my neck and traps keep getting bigger over time so the pillow has to be changed.. I actually came across a bodybuilding show on the radio where they were talking about this and I was like that is my problem too!

the main problem is I am a side sleeper. i suppose if you sleep on your back it isn't much of an issue. anyone else experience this? and what did u do about it?

If my hands under the pillow its really bad.

Whats worse for me is trying to talk on the phone biciep hits my forearm and gets so sore!

you guys are missing what I'm saying.

i constantly wake up having to adjust the pillow, its becoming a pain in the ass to deal with. and I am waking up with crinks in my neck and trap spasms. I adjusted the pillow and made it smaller and the pain went away but it sometimes still bothers me. then i went back to the previous pillow size and boom the problem came back 10 fold.

I'm not trying to brag, I'm asking if anyone else has had to change their pillow size because of a bigger neck/traps? and what did u do about it? i heard there are pillow stores you can go to that they will fit you with a proper size pillow.. has anyone tried that and had it work? i don't want to blow 200 bucks on a pillow for nothing

i will sometimes have forearm pain when my arm is under my body when i wake up sometimes so i know what you are talking about putting your body weight on it. ... the bicep thing happens to me when i am driving home after a workout from the pumps, hard to hold the phone up to my ear.

both of these issues i can deal with.. having a screwed up neck though takes the cake.. nothing is as bad as a crink in your neck

i have the same problem... and im not joking but if someone could recommend a good pillow i would appreciate it.. at times it is horrible.. im a side or stomach sleeper if there are any experts out there

i heard sleep number has a self adjusting pillow but i dont think thats what im looking for.. maybe a memory foam thing?

i have a STACK of old pillows.. its ridiculous.. puts my old ladies shoe collection to shame.. ok well its not that bad .. i shouldve wrote my weight/bf% on each of them when i got rid of them.... like my own little progress meter..

for me as a side sleeper i think getting 'wider' in the shoulder and back and all that messes it up too.. but neck for sure i know what your saying.. oh if anyone ever needs an old suit let me know.. i have like 5 different sizes im sure one would fit...

When I had my shoulder surgery a couple years back (torn tator cuff, torn detached labrum) the PT told me that I should use 2 pillows cuz of my broad shoulders. And it is cheaper to buy 2 smaller ones. Also you can mix em. One med and one firm or whatever you like. Also then you replace one at a time as needed. Much cheaper in the long run.

I have a pretty firm memory foam pillow that works real well, even when I was at my largest it worked great! Trying to get back to that size or more lol...eventually want to be more lean and that weight :D
