Am I the only person who has to change my pillow size after cycle?

what is it about lying on your back that makes you guys unable to sleep?

I stopped being a stomach sleeper when I was around 8-9 years old. No way I could do it now. If I put my arms up under my pillow or my head my shoulders would be in pain after 30 minutes or so.

I can get relaxed on my back but to go to sleep I've gotta roll over. I also have to sleep with my arms under the pillow and yes I do wake up with my shoulders hurting which is why I'm here lol. I'm trying to figure something else out.

Kind of a cool problem to have. So big it's hard to sleep right. Haha.

trust me bro, it's not that cool of a problem.

It gets worse too. Like I said, when you start developing OSA and you basically are choking off your air supply, that's not cool. You are always tired, lethargic, can't read more than a page or two of a book without falling asleep, can't sit still for more than 15 minutes or so without passing out, possibly fall asleep at the wheel while driving distances...not cool.

You can get yourself a cool machine to sleep with at night though that helps you breathe by forcing air down your trachea, making you sound like Darth Vader! "I AM your father!"

But even before all that starts to happen, sleeping on your side with all that weight crushing down on your shoulder and arm and organs and spine can cause other issues ranging from just tingling and numbness to serious nerve issues.

A very comfortable bed and pillow(s), and sleeping on your back will likely be your only option.

I can't sleep on my side, hurt the shoulders to roll them that much all night. This with a $2000 memory foam mattress. Sleep on my back

btw i ended up buying that pillow that was linked on here a while ago.. was like 25 bucks and its pretty damn nice!

somewhere on one of my work computers I have a pdf on sleeping and pillow positions.. its crazy.. something like this though..

i tried it for a while and definitely helped but it definitely is a pain...

ok nevermind.. i found it... it is definitely worth a read if you have problems
