Am I the only person who has to change my pillow size after cycle?

^^^ yes I also sleep with a pillow between my elbows which helps, if i don't sleep with a pillow there i would for sure wake up with shoulder pain.. my shoulders are extremely wide which is not only from lifting but also a genetic thing being lebanese.. we mostly are short and stocky.

just for the record i've tried sleeping on my back and what happens is my head rolls around, so i am commited to sleeping on my side.

i heard sleep number has a self adjusting pillow but i dont think thats what im looking for.. maybe a memory foam thing?...

I'm going there this weekend to get fitted actually. thats why i started this thread for feedback before i spend 150 or 200 bucks on a pillow there.

of course I will update everyone once i try the pillow out

they have all kinds of pillows.

i already use the memory foam, I stack it with another pillow.. the problem with the memory foam is that it changes size during the night IMO as you are laying on it. gotta find a pillow that is as comfortable as the memory foam but also doesn't change size.. i hope they can hook me up this weekend.

I've always had to sleep with two pillows. I'm generally a side sleeper.. and being 6'4".. well my neck is seriously twisted if I don't do two pillows. and even then I generally put my arm underneath to prop my head up more.

I use a standard medium hardness pillow on the bottom and I bought this one for the top. If I sleep on my side I put the memory foam on the top, if I sleep on my back, I put the gel microfiber side on the top so I sink a little bit more. It has made me feel so much better with very little neck/shoulder pain when waking up.

Pretty cheap pillow for the memory foam and microgel. It seriously is like your head is on a cloud. Give it a shot. It's not fake memory foam either. I can tell the difference.

Stevesmi let us know how it goes.

bader: i just cannot believe that pillow is that cheap. does it last very long? if it does then that is a helluva deal.

grow: I will let u all know how it works. this place has a 30 day exchange thing so if the pillow doesn't work i will swap it out and keep trying.

So far it's been 7 months without any noticeable wear at all. The memory foam still comes back perfect from its pressure form in seconds. The gel is oh so soft and gelly. Hehe. And for the price even if it didn't last me a whole year, I'd be fine spending ~$20 bucks a year on a nice comfort fitting pillow.

Let us know how this 'fitted pillow' thing works out. I didn't know such a thing existed. I just wish I could hang up my hammock instead of sleeping on a bed. Best. Sleep. Ever.

I had surgery a few yrs ago,and literally was forced to lie on my back in the hospital, now i've gotten so used to it ,theres no way i could go back to sleeping on my side or stomach again, but ya i know what yall talking about ,many a night i have woken up with either a crick in my neck or a numb arm from laying on it for so long.

I have been thinking about trying to sleep on tatami japanese style.. very firm and no pillow..just sooooooo used to not sleeping like that it is hard to make the change

bader thanks i just ordered that pillow.. looks good

Steve please update if you try that sleep number pillow
