Am I the only person who has to change my pillow size after cycle?

wanted to follow up as promised.

i got the pillow a couple weeks ago.. the chick there worked with me patiently for about 20 minutes to build me a pillow. the difference is these pillows stay firm all night, unlike the cheaper pillows from walmart or bed bath and beyond. my neck feels much better but it was tough the first few nights with a new pillow

I had surgery a few yrs ago,and literally was forced to lie on my back in the hospital, now i've gotten so used to it ,theres no way i could go back to sleeping on my side or stomach again, but ya i know what yall talking about ,many a night i have woken up with either a crick in my neck or a numb arm from laying on it for so long.

How long did it take for you to get used to sleeping on your back? I'm having all the same issues as y'all except I'm not a big ole swole boy. It's time for a new pillow because mi e old one comes everywhere I go. Period. Lol. I know if I could just learn to sleep on my back my shoulder and neck issues would improve.

Where exactly did you go?

it took me about 2 nights before i finally adjusted to it, now i couldn't lay on my side or stomach for the life of me.

I haven't been able to sleep on my side for a long time without waking up in shoulder/arm pain to roll back on to my back again. I think when I was still a skinny little bastard it was fine. I don't see how anyone with any measure of size can do it.

You think your sleep is bad now? Wait until you develop Obstructive Sleep Apnea!

This is starting to affect me, I've been waking up 4 or 5 times a night with mainly shoulder pain, I sleep with my hands under my pillow but that's not working anymore, I'm gonna have to do something different

yes it keeps getting worse as i grow. i tried sleeping on my back but i still end up on my side.

i sleep hugging a pillow and with a pillow for my arm to rest on. without that I would wake up with shoulder and arm pain. now i just have to solve the neck issue, hopefully this special pillow continues to work.. so far so good

That's exactly what I do but it's starting to not work anymore. Last week when I was so sick I had to lay face up and got no sleep at all. I guess I should force myself. Eventually after a few days of no sleep it will start working. I'll have to Check out sleep number

what is it about lying on your back that makes you guys unable to sleep?

I stopped being a stomach sleeper when I was around 8-9 years old. No way I could do it now. If I put my arms up under my pillow or my head my shoulders would be in pain after 30 minutes or so.

^^^ I never sleep on my stomach.. just on my side.

I tried sleeping on my back at the urging of my massage therapist, and my head would roll to one side or the other and i would still get neck pain, or i would end up on my side at some point anyway. so i just went back to sleeping on my side. only problem is i know that i will have to continue adjusting pillow size as my neck, traps, shoulders continue to grow.
