Really, I never new about the amonia thing. I think thats what my wrestling shirts always end up smelling like. What is your guys opinions of wrestling for fat loss/ muscle gain (when natural). Wrestling gets you in great cardio shape but wrestlers aren't usually quite the specimens that a lot of wieghtlifters become, what's your opinions on that?
i had that same omonia smellin sweat when i droped my carbs real low and my weight training went to shit
i had real good fat loss effects taking a whey protien shake right before cardio ,it seemed to help alot for me
i think were all different and everyone responds differently to different things the whole idea of cardio on an empty stomach burns more fat makes sesnse but i think theres a greater chance of burning muscle if the cardio seesion becomes to intense

Did you read the original thread? I call bullshite on morning cardio.

OMEGA: the fact that anabolics are anti-catabolic is EXACTLY why it's a moot point! The drugs are counteracting the negative effects of cardio on an empty stomach! (???)
great then...end of discussion
everyone get on juice and do am cardio

Bullshit for who?

I've spent YEARS switching Cardio methods/times up and FAR AND AWAY the "best" results for me have been cardio (first thing in the morning on an empty stomach). THAT'S a FACT for me...........

NM - you have to realize that you "generalize" too much with your advice without understanding that NOT EVERYONE'S BODY RESPONDS THE SAME WAY TO THE SAME STIMULI.

If I was to follow your protocol for Cardio and fat loss , I would be taking a step backward..........
Does this mean your an idiot?

Nope..........it just means you can't dial into every single human being with the same protocol................

Common sense bro..........common sense............

I've found that as long as I keep my calories maintenance and I am using stuff like ampify02 , dermacrine and AIFM, AM cardio is unnecessary. My body burns fat just fine doing cardio 5:00pm instead of 5:00am. Afternoon cardio does not burn as much muscle because cortisol levels have dropped and/or have been reduced by some of the above supps.

The body requires glucose for the first 15-20 minutes of activity. So a man with excessive muscles will go catabolic to fuel that cardio. After which fat will be burned. I believe the rate of fat burned is excellerated after that initial 15 minute period, so I have found that longer bouts of cardio in the afternoon work just fine.

It really doesn't matter, to be honest, when you do your cardio, in realistic terms.

Everyone's genetics are very different. When I was 16, I knew nothing about catabolism and dieted hard and did a lot of jogging. I got very very thin, and never got a full 6-pack abs, but in retrospect lost a ton of muscle. I had very skinny arms and legs and a small roll of a gut, and looked terrible. After that I am very careful about muscle loss so I've always got protein in me and am taking measurements as I do cardio.

I think AM cardio is more intense in terms of buring stored reserves, but for some it may be too catabolic, but for others it may be the extra kick needed to move a stubborn metabolism.

Questions for Nelson and Omega, AR:

In what way are steroids anti-catabolic during cardio/fat loss? Don't muscles require stress and load to get the steroids to bind to the receptors to force growth? Or does simply having the steroids floating around cause growth, or stop catabolism by some other mechanism? What's really going on there?

i have better results in the pm doing my cardio about 2 hours after my last protein/fat meal and having all my carbs after my cardio session.

recently i have been doing 30 minutes after my training sessions. before i start i have 10 to 15 grams of bcaas. the results have been great. i think cardio after weights puts you in a better physiological state to burn fat compared to am cardio. your body is not starved after training but energy stores are depleted. just my opinion. i have done am cardio though for over a decade now.
