Alright, one night stand says shes having my kid and is asking for money...

LOL

She IS low class.

Yeah, maybe she could be become classy like the thread starter and bitch about the consequences of HIS OWN ACTIONS on the internet and be a deadbeat dad. That is something to aspire to!

You've never had sex with more than one person in a month's time frame? I have broken up with guys and met another within that time frame. I guess I'm a "low class whore" too. :whatever:

I can't condone her having sex with a married man. Now, that is low class. I'll give you that!

Men and woman are not held by the same standards - it's silly to even suggest that they could be held by the same rule - it will never happen.

Too bad we don't still have slavery of the blacks, too, huh? The same argument was used to support that inequality too.

A man can't get pregnant - a woman can - it can argued what is right or wrong blah blah blah but the reality is yes women will be judged. It should be the responsibility of the woman to make sure she does not get pregnant unless that is what she wants or what the couple both want and are both ready for..

A woman carries the child but it takes a sperm and an egg to make one. Men know how to make babies and so do women. One is no more responsible for preventing it than the other. Even with birth control, women sometimes get pregnant. The whole blame the woman thing is from the stone ages! I'm so glad that the lawmakers in every state don't see it this way. Men are not helpless victims of female succubi. They are just equally involved in making a child and need to own up when they do create one. No one fools them into anything. They know how babies are made.

velvett said:
She wasn't looking out for the future of this child or seeing to it that this child would have a father or a provider (or both) - she was just looking for some fast cash..

I don't have a decent father for my kid either! Maybe we can burn her and me both at the stake in a simultaneous witch hunt! You can only do the best with what you have to work with. We all make mistakes in life. She made a mistake sleeping with the guy who started the thread because he obviously doesn't give a shit about her or his kid. You have no idea what kind of mom she will make or what she is trying to do for the kids.

I don't know why I am even typing.

Perhaps to set back women's equality 100 years? LOL.

I like you and all Vel, but wow these posts applauding the guy for sleeping with and then denigrating some woman for conceiving his child are just outrageous to me.

Question for you off the subject- You being a lawyer, If someone came to you saying they spilled coffee on themselves that they bought from Mcdonalds, and now they want to sue. Would you take the case?
It depends on the particulars of the case. I can't answer in a strict yes or no fashion. I would have to know the rest of the facts. Most of those cases don't have enough damages to make it worth my time. I have had two cases similar to that (customers harmed by negligence in a restaraunt). In both cases, I didn't have to even file suit. I got them settled.

I turned away a potential client once for a similar situation. (They left a dishrag in her glass) :worried: She claimed injury but there was no proof of any real damages, and I turned her down.

I don't normally even do any personal injury stuff. It has never been a field that I attempted to get clients. The ones I've done are usually sort of favors.

I'll just throw this out here cause I know a lot of you will know what the hell to do.

I'm 22, had a one night stand....couple of months go by and this girl tracks me down.

Long story short, she is not sure if it is mine, I ask her what she was going to do and she is going to keep it. I didn't suggest anything....

Kid is due in Feb, she won't do a paternity test until after the kid is born and says she "hopes" it is mine because the other guy is married.

No I didn't wrap it up, I already understand how stupid it was...I know I know

She was down in my area for something a while back and stopped by, she tried to get me to sleep with her again but hell nah...that went from a 9 drunk to a 5 sober.

She texts me once a week or whatever, just saying hi...now she wants money for her electricity bill. I do make a ton of money compared to most people my age.

Lives in an apartment with her sister, already has a kid and wants $280 for electricity.

Say fuck you or how the hell do I get out of that? I'll own up to the kid if it is mine but this shit is sketchy

heyo moneybags!

my electricity bill is due next week, can you pay mine too? its only $93.00 mere pocket change for ya i'm sure..!

i say alter

OMG! You keep saying he does not give a shit about "his" kid. Who the hell knows if its his kid. She was out sleeping with multiple guys. That is the point. Do you want him to pay any other bills while he's at it just because she "thinks" he might be the father?

Well, yeah. That is true. I just think that they should talk it out like adults. He came on here talking about her like a whore and that could be the mom of his baby. It just isn't cool. Personally, anyone I would sleep with I would definitely loan or give them $280 for a light bill if I had it just because they needed it. It seems very tawdry to me to sleep with someone and care so little for their well-being. He must have been just out trying to be some sort of playa.

The logical answer would be "No way, if someone spilled coffee on themselves, why the hell would it be Mcdonalds fault" period. Come on heather...I like you but I'm starting to wonder.

Well, no, it isn't that black and white.

I had a client who was in a Pizza Hut and they put the sauce for breadsticks in a plastic container and handed it to the girl (my client). The sauce was so hot that the top of the container melted and poured all over her hand causing large second degree burns. They admitted at that time that they had made a mistake and put the crock pot on high heat instead of low by mistake. I honestly felt she deserved some money for her hospital visit and pain & suffering. I got it for her. Not all these cases are black and white. I didn't agree with the McDonalds verdict, but there are similar cases that deserve compensation.

The other case that I handled, they left a piece of glass in the food and broke a guy's teeth.

This stuff happens. Some of the cases have merit and some are just people looking for a payday. The gal in the Pizza Hut case was only about 13 at the time and I really felt sorry for her. She had blisters all over her hand. They clearly were at fault in that case. Who the hell needs sauce so boiling hot that it melts the container?

I understand heather's position here....I'm not totally in agreement with her because I've seen this before, it's a common hustle. But the girl might be genuine, who knows. Heather's a good girl with a good heart and I have no doubt she would give someone money like she said. But heather, if this girl now keeps coming back for one expense after another, at some point you have to smell the hustle...........she could be hitting up the married guy for even more money because he'll be very anxious to keep her quiet. As I said, I understand your position.........and I would also give money to a woman in such a case if money was no issue. But there would be a line I would draw, one which if she would cross it would become "me being taken advantage of". Let's wait and see. But I'm not optimistic because I know two guys that could come and post here with two very outrageous stories of being totally taken advantage of...........and both guys are "FIRST CLASS" men.

Yeah, she may be hustling him. I'm just hormonal...lol. If she is, then that is pretty messed up!

I just didn't like all the woman bashing just because the girl is prego. You could imagine that I might be sensitive to that exact scenario...LOL.

Of course, I have total understanding where you're coming from. But I don't think people here were gettin on it because she was prego, but the fact that she was fucking multiple guys and then hit this guy up for money when she becomes pregnant not knowing exactly who the father is. They should get a paternity test now. Even if the kid didn't end up mine, and I knew the girl was in a hard way and I had the money no problem..........I'd give some to her. But in this shady ass world people can actually take you to court and force you to continue payments like you're "obligated".............it's like taking the action which was done out of the goodness of your heart.............and shitting on it.
