Alright after first day of working out.

I got a question

It's the next day now, and im acheing like crazy... hopeing thats a good sign.

I wish just wondering if someone could tell me if my lifting schedual has a chance of success (Trying to gain muscle mass, yet stay lean and in shape)

Tuesday:
Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
1x5 Deadlift
Barbell Curl 3x8
SkullCrusher or Pushdown 3x8

Wednesday:
Laps in the pool, by set. So swim the laps, rest with soft swin and do other sets.
About 2 miles+ on mill.

Thursday
Workout B
3x5 Squat
3x5 Standing military press
3x5 Rows

Friday:
Laps in the pool, by set. So swim the laps, rest with soft swin and do other sets.
About 2 miles+ on mill.

Saturday:
Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
1x5 Deadlift
Barbell Curl 3x8
SkullCrusher or Pushdown 3x8

Sunday-Monday REST.

ALRIGHT, I know it sounds like much but im really striving for results and have the time to go to the gym this much. But I was told the sunday-monday rest is all I need.

If someone could maybe move some workouts around or give me some different ones, and let me know what kind of results should I be looking for from this workout for the next few months.

Thanks alot, this forum has made everything so much easier for me.
