And secede indeed!!!!!! In fact, last time I crossed into Texas from NM, the sign says "Welcome to the Republic of Texas". We don't want any Obamacare, gun control (or confiscation, as our government would like), Nor do I want welfare, or be told we're going to jail if we throw an old TV set in the trash, and I don't care if some damn fish up in the California greenie liberal Delta (that nobody can eat anyway), is being endangered by my Chevy 3500 Diesel.

Christ, totally. Texas is in danger of just becoming a comedic spoof of itself when it's own governor makes national headlines with some absurdity like this. My mom's side is TexMex going back 3 generations, so I know Texans won't care that the other 49 may find some of their headlines these days ridiculous, but they should.
