So heres whats happening.

3 weeks ago pulled 292 x 4 form was off and lower back a bit rounded
2 weeks ago dropped it back to 286 x 3 and was gonna go from there as I could keep the good form
1 week ago tryed for 292 x 3 again looking to pull it with good form. Managed it but 3rd rep was like a max rep form was off only just managed to lock it out

So as you can probably tell this is converted from KG which is what the weights are here, and 140kg is 3 plates, 292lbs is 132.5kg. So yes Im very close to 3 plates over here.

Now originally I was gonna just keep adding 2.5kg (5lbs) untill I got up to 3 plates which should be the end of october or the 3rd week of october. By then strength will have probably continued to drop and I will only pull 308 for 1 or 2 reps.

So who thinks I should carry on like this and try to get to 3 plates but form will be probably suffering.

Other option would be this tuesday just say fuck it put my belt on and load up 3 plates and try and get the fucker up. Then drop it back and go back to sets of 6 reps with better form. Deadlifting 3 plates (140kg) is a priority right now

Btw, I tryed to pull 3plates back in July and got it up to like 3 inch below the knee. I went onto the 5x5 spreadhseet and it calculated my 1rm to be 141kg if I could put 292 x 3.

What are you all thinking? Please dont say deload now :)

i say quit trying to max :D

or if your going to do it then walk in the gym and quickly build up to it work your way up with 3 build up sets of 2 reps each. then hit the 3 plates

yes after this Im not maxing, without even realised I have been maxing for a few months now every week, just the poundages caught up on me. What would be an example of building up to 308? Somthing like
132 x 2
190 x 2
250 x 2
308 x 1

I say work it for singles now leave the other reps in the tank.

so still progress with 5lbs at a time but just for a single?

this week - 297 x 1
next week - 303 x 1
2 weeks - 308 x 1

that will be my progression if I do that
 
Honestly i want you to kill that shit, but if you fail don't bring your journal down with tears lol.
