Its super humid here- had a crazy thunderstorm last night- had to miss volleyball due to the storm. Good thing I'm subbing on another team tonight!
 
Today I register for the Canada Army Run half marathon, I'm really excited :)

I'm going to start a clean diet, good cardio as I used to be in track in jr and high school.
Got all my goodies ready to go and got a 1 year free membership at Gold's gym ready...my friend hooked me up, hee,hee.
As hot as it is out in this area, I should get a six pack in about 10 weeks!!!
I'm ready!!

Yeah, the race is on at a decent hour for once. I was nice and well-rested for qualifying this morning. Although qualifying is kind of a bore this year with all the tire-saving strategy.

Lots of rain in Montreal today, looks like BBR did well to skip the race this year. They've stopped the race and are waiting for conditions to improve.

I was happy not to be there today and watch on tv. Great race after the rain delay! Button's win over Vettel on last lap was perfect ending. Thanks to the rain!
 
Although I'm a Knicks fan, congratulations Dirk and the Dallas Mavericks! Nice to see the Heat couldn't buy a championship in their 1st year of James/Wade/Bosch.

surf n turf trumps Jack Astor's!

I've been to Kemptville. My best bud had both his kids involved in karting when they were younger. They travelled all over but they once had a radio station (the Bear?) doing a remote from Karter's Korner that i went to.

It's nice there, I would like to live out that way when we get a house. Even though I grew up practically downtown (the Glebe), I am not a huge fan of city living.

I'm getting tired of the city too.
I like Kanata but the develpment doesn't stop. Still they've saved some greenspaces. We went for a bikeride on some trails not far from the house and passed deer grazing which is cool.

That sounds nice! Have you been riding in Gatineau Park? I haven't ridden a bike there, but the hiking is nice.
There were some bears in people's backyards in Bell's Corners last week. People were terrified- lol.
It's not like there's cougars or anything really dangerous-just some coyotes, black bears, foxes. People just have to keep an eye on their little foofy dogs, not leave garbage out, and make noise while walking in the forest.
