Approved Log My Testosterone Tbol Cycle Log

@BrightFuture how about some hair pics playa? :) just for curiosity

having high libido means you're doing it right, make the wife happy :) try hard with her
Oh she’s very happy as am I. It’s pretty awesome. Will try and get a good hair pic. I mean I don’t have great hair but I noticed before I started this it was showing some signs of thinning a bit. It is now looking thicker again. Pretty happy about that.

Alright so today was back day and also some bicep pump work at end. Good day. Decided to substitute barbell rows with dumbbell rows. Definitely feel like the dumbbells allow me to focus more on the contraction. Probably stick with those moving forward.

1 arm dumbbell row: 60x15 70x12 80x10 85x8 (goal will be to shoot for atleast 90 pounds next week might even try 95 or 100 if I can get atleast 8 reps which I am confident will happen)
Hammer lat pulldown: 100x15 110x12 120x6 (during the second set the seat went all the way down which put my elbows in a sketchy position so I didn’t push to hard)
Cable seated row: 120x15 135x12 150x10 165x6
Close grip pulldown: 120x10 120x10 120x10
Straight arm rope pulldown: 40x15 50x15 60x9 70x8 (different machine than I usually use and the resistance feels much heavier so the weight used was lighter)
Cable bicep curl: 70x15 80x15 90x10
Dumbbell hammer curl: 30x12 35x12 40x8

Good fun workout. 15 minutes cardio before and after.

Also, got 4 weeks left on this cycle. Contemplating a couple of things. I know I can do self trt but not sure if I really want to do that just yet as I am only 36. Granted I also don’t want to come off the testosterone. I feel mentally a lot better with it.

I feel like the last 2-3 weeks have not been the best for me. I let my mental struggles get in the way and came pretty close to backsliding completely. I have made a lot of progress with that over the last year. Truthfully I am lucky to even be alive just to put into perspective just how bad I got mentally a year ago. Won’t go into details with that.

However, I do feel the testosterone may be helping me pull myself out of that faster. I definitely feel better overall and younger too. I just got to stay disciplined. In probably 3 months, I want to do another cycle and really focus that one on getting as big as I can. Thinking 500 test, 400 eq and 50 anadrol. I just don’t know what to do immediately following this cycle. Self trt or not? Kinda torn.

@BrightFuture self-TRT is the way to go, i dont think you need PCT , why go that route?
just take 2 weeks off cycle and train/diet and get on self TRT easy

This morning was shoulder day. Wasn’t the best because my left elbow was sore. Think I just slept on it or something. Didn’t realize how sore it was til my 3rd set on overhead presses. Disappointing because I was full of energy and really was expecting to set a new pr today. That’s ok though because I still did what I could do. Tomorrow is leg day so elbow shouldn’t be a problem.

Hammer shoulder press: 45x15 70x12 80x10(this is where the elbow became a problem)
Hammer strength shrug: 180x20 180x20 180x20 180x20
Reverse fly: 85x12 85x12 85x12 85x12
Facepull: 100x20 100x20 100x20 100x20

15 minutes cardio before and after. I also did 1 set of lateral raises but elbow made it hard to do more. Elbow is feeling a lot better now.

Well tomorrow is leg day!

Yeah that’s what I will probably do. What do you guys do if your regular doctor wants blood work? Also, trt would be Test E 200/wk 1 injection?

don't go overboard on trt run at the right way

gotta protect your prostate and your heart health when you do trt

let us know what you decide to do that will be exciting to follow

@BrightFuture Good detailed updates bro.......

So for leg day I took a different approach. Much quicker workout and very little rest time between sets. Kept the rep ranges between 15-20 for the most part. Fun workout but I prefer the way I was doing it before but thought I would try this out 1 time.

Hammer leg press: 180x 20 270x15 270x15 360x12
Calf raise: 215x20 215x20 215x20 215x16
Leg extension: 120x20 135x20 150x15 165x10
Leg curl: 120x20 135x20 135x15 135x10

Fun workout but I think I prefer my usual. Think my rest time was long enough to change the weight and that was it. Typically I do 2 minutes for main exercise of the day and 1 minute for everything else. Also did 15 minutes cardio before and after.

Had a good date night with my wife last night! Left elbow still feels a bit sore so I skipped having a dedicated arm day this week. Not end of the world because I do add them in with chest and back anyway.

Alright guys I am here and ok. Been a rough and stressful week. Not all bad though. To start with the bad my son has had problems with one of his ears his entire life. Lots of surgeries and he had one late last year. He had an audiogram appt 1.5 hours away Monday. We found out he had dramatic hearing loss and would eventually need hearing aids for life in the near future. This was pretty crushing for us but he took it in stride. We obviously didn’t let him know how we were feeling about. Then the next day the surgeon office called and the surgeon wanted to see him asap because he wasn’t expecting this at all. So he had another appointment yesterday an hour away. Thankfully we got some potentially good news. He possibly just had some left over fluid build up post surgery that got infected and the antibiotics didn’t get rid of. So he’s trying to get that cleared up and hopefully that was the cause of the hearing loss. That was a huge relief because we were stressing pretty bad.

Now some good things. I had to take a test Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I passed the first 2 but won’t know about the third for a couple weeks. These are required for my next big career step so good things happening there. Got one more next week to take.

Left elbow has been bothering me still. I still hit chest Monday though.

Incline hammer press: 70x15 80x12 90x10 100x6 (elbow wasn’t like the 90 or 100 pounds)
Machine fly: 4 sets 15 reps 100 pounds
Incline dumbbell fly: 4 sets 20 pounds 15 reps (couldn’t do more than 20 because the elbow)
Tricep push down: 4 sets 15 reps 100 pounds

Wanted to do dips but figured that wouldn’t be good for elbow.

This morning I got up early and was feeling really good. Getting the potential good news about son yesterday was a huge stress relief. Did legs today.

Leg press: 300x12 320x12 340x12 360x8
Calf raise: 215x20 215x20 215x16 215x17
Leg curl: 4 sets of 20 120 pounds
Leg extension: 135x20 135x20 135x16 135x14
Romanian deadlift: 4 sets of 12 at 135 pounds

Elbow felt great. Thinking it is 100% now. Planning to do shoulders and arms tomorrow but I also might decide to go back today and do shoulders then just do arms tomorrow.

Well it’s been a great day and it got even better after my second workout of the day. Hit shoulders pretty hard. One thing to note is I believe my joints and tendons were getting pretty beat up. Believe they just needed some time to catch up to the weight. My left shoulder felt great today. I believe it has possibly caught up and maybe even surpassed my right shoulder strength wise. Wild because at the start of this, I had a major strength disparity with the left being much weaker.

Hammer strength shoulder press: 45x15 70x15 80x10 90x9 100x8
Hammer strength shrug 180x20 180x20 180x20 180x16
Dumbbell lateral raise: 20x15 20x15 20x15 20x15
Machine reverse fly: 75x12 90x12 90x12 90x12
Facepulls: 100x20 110x20 120x19 130x13

My whole body just felt so good today. I think the weights increased probably too fast during that first 4 weeks and my joints weren’t ready. Some of you here told me to slow down but I was having too much fun so I didn’t listen. Well now I know! Feeling awesome!

Killer bro

So good date night. Had some shrimp tacos. Not the healthiest choice but not terrible either. Also got some new ear buds. Had air pod pros but got some beats because they were about 50% off. Stay in ear better and sound better too.

@BrightFuture Looks like a day well spent....good.........

Update from Monday:

Been a good couple of days. The left elbow still bothering me a tad but only on pulling movements so limited my back workout.

Monday:
Hammer incline press: 70x15 80x12 90x10 100x8 (new rep pr with 100)
Machine fly: 85x12 100x12 115x12 130x12
Dumbbell incline fly: 30x15 25x15 20x15 20x15
Tricep pushdown: 90x30 100x20 100x18 100x16

I tried several times to get 110 pounds for a 5th set on the incline press but only managed to get maybe 2-3 reps. Frustrating but that’s alright. Tomorrow is shoulder day! Also going to Alcatraz tomorrow for a tour. Should be cool and some fairly cold weather.

Alright so let me catch this log up! Been a busy few days! Back was limited a bit due to left elbow but shoulder day it felt fine. I gotta stop falling asleep on my arm. I wake up everyday with my arm or hand numb because I feel asleep on it lol.

Back:

Dumbbell bench: 60x15 70x12 80x10
Lat pulldown: 3 sets of 10 at 100 pounds
Cable seated row: 3 sets 12 135 pounds
Straight arm pulldown: 4 sets 15 at 100 pounds (still my favorite back exercise)
Threw in some bicep pump work at end.

Shoulder:

Hammer strength shoulder press: 45x15 70x15 80x11 90x8
Dumbbell lateral raise: 4 sets 12 at 15 pounds
Hammer shrugs: 3 sets of 20 at 180 pounds, 1 set of 17 at 180 pounds
Reverse fly: 3 sets of 15 at 85 pounds and 1 set of 10 85 pounds
Facepull: 4 sets of 100 at 20 pounds

And one more thing. So my original protocol was .5mg of anastrazole eod. I haven’t really stuck to this because I notice when I do take it I wake up soaked in sweat. Assuming I don’t actually need an AI? I haven’t had any other issues associated with estrogen problems.

@BrightFuture volume is very nice you're doing it right
how did you do with cardio?
and how was the trip?

you shouldnt guess on arimidex use, you should just cut the dose to 0.25mgs arimidex eod, you need to take an Ai or you'll have health issues

you definitely don't want to be sweating while you're sleeping you lose a lot of fluids that way

you can get a mattress topper that's soft and that will give your arm some relief

sounds like your bed is probably too hard

yeah look into possibly a new mattress or a new topper that will be more soft

good updates even these little things can make a big difference

optimizing your sleep is crucial keep working on it

Yeah I will stop guessing on the AI use. Trip was great! San Francisco weather is as good as it gets. Prefer LA overall but that San Francisco weather is unbeatable.

I would talk to a sleep expert and see what can be done
I think it has a lot to do with the military lifestyle. The sleep deprivation and the just never getting in a normal schedule. Granted I am out now and it’s getting better.

Meal prep attached! Tomorrow is chest/triceps. Feeling pretty good about my left shoulder so I plan to reintroduce barbell bench tomorrow. I plan to do this slowly so I probably won’t do more than 135 pounds just to see if my left shoulder feels as stable and strong as I think it is. If it doesn’t feel right I will stop and move on.

Had salmon, rice and veggies today again today. Very good and tasty food! I have reintroduced the rice because I feel like my body really needs those carbs. I have noticed that once I limited my carbs to just rolled oats in the morning my workouts just haven’t been the same. Wife even noticed that I seem to be really tired since that adjustment.

Went to the gym today and did 45 minutes of cardio and that felt great. Got this week left and then this cycle will be over. Likely going the self-trt route. About how long after the cycle ends should I get bloods done?

@BrightFuture hows your shoulder? make sure to go slow on it

bloods I want to see them 1-2 weeks post cycle but trt is a must for you 100%
you have test right? :)

Shoulder I think feels great. Still going to cautiously move forward on the barbell bench just to make sure.

Yeah I got testosterone on hand.

Alright so today was a great workout. Left shoulder felt solid and stable. I took it easy on the bench press and stopped 2-3 reps short on each set. I don’t want to push it too hard just yet.

Barbell bench: 135x10 145x8 155x6
Machine fly: 130x15 145x13 145x10 130x10
Hammer incline chest press: 70x12 80x10 90x8 90x6
Incline fly: 30x15 25x12 25x12 25x12
Tricep pushdown: 100x25 110x20 120x13 130x10

30 minutes cardio before and after. Feeling so damn good about that left shoulder. When I started this, my left shoulder and truthfully the whole left side of my body was dramatically weaker than the right and I can confidently say that is no longer the case. Can’t wait to see where this take me in a year. I do still have to be careful with the left shoulder because I do have a bone island in it that will never go away. I do think that the training appears to do wonders for it and keeping it strong and stable.
