why is it so hard to push on the syringe?

Laws of Physics would be my answer.

If they come from a pharm they should be sterile wrapped with the needle and volume 411 on the wrapping.
 
maybe its a bad batch of pins, I had some 23g hid in my ceiling (thermos) I think the heat made melted em a bit cause their all hard to push no matter what I inject. I know sometimes if you inject in the same area all the time if your in a lot of scar tissue it makes it hard to inject.
 
All Fluids cannot be compressed. All gases can be compressed. Some gas (air) usually sits at the top of the juice (fluid).. this will not harm you, but it is best not to inject this air...

Since Pressure = Force/Area, and Force = Pressure x Area, the small surface area of the needle (empty bit) means a large force is required to move the viscous dense fluid under pressure through the needle...
