what's your profession???

Im not asking for company names but the type of work that you all do. I hope everyone join in on this. Im an industrial mechanic making $75,000 base salary. Im trying to find out what profession juice the most.
 
Used to be a touring musician/music producer... Now I just sort of hang out... trying to figure out my next step. I am planning on getting into structural acoustics sales with my mother's company.
 
5th year Law & Business student, Part time work at a commercial law firm, part time work at a Boxing/Muay Thai gym
 
I work for an organization that uses propaganda tactics too debunk the ACLU, and I teach at CC two nights a week (ECO, PS)
So.. don't mess with me.LoL
 
I own a small island in the south pacific!

During the day I manage IT. (I am the only buff computer dork within 1000miles) !!!

I'm an avocado farmer, and a former (I don't like the word retired) electronics technician. Also blessed with good financial discipline and made some good decisions about my future and funds (along with plenty of bad ones), but it balances out OK. My wife is a retired stunt woman, and also made good choices when she was working. If this thread is still going by the time Obama finishes his economic demolition plan, I may have to edit here and say we're both McDonald's clerks on welfare!

Shit, I"m stayin at a Holiday inn Express... -no joke- for the next week.
I'm back in home city, KC, looking to get a part time menial gig, for the next 8 weeks before, semester starts, I move out and in with T out east. I dunno with the Stipend I have to live on for the next 5 years, this ain't gonna be pretty.

May hit U up for some cycle advice, contemplating a 'summer return' to physical shape.
We shall see.

LOL, I'm feeling your long term plans of save, and plan for future, which are so passe today, financial restraint, are the main reasons. I'm not in debt, but fuck... trepidations about living out east... we shall see.

Hey, I'm on AT&T, and they got a video share feature, live video through cell, this may help U with your long distance woes. It's not 2 expensive monthly, for a smaller package. Waiting on a refurb. Impression, so T and I can use.

It's sure a better way of life than time clocks and ID badges, and ISO9000 inspectors breathing down my neck, and measuring the amount of static electricity on my lab coat when I was an electronics tech (working for an aerospace subcontractor for a few years after shutting down my TV repair business in Los Angeles).

No more people in my face, and I can go out there and check on our trees any time of the day or night; nobody's keeping track of my time. All responsibility is mine, and so is my success or failure. No hindering, no helping!

I run my families flooring business. We have been in business for almost 32 years and in the next 5 years I will be taking over.

I also work with an IT tech on weekends for his side jobs, getting some hands on training, plus I'm going to school nights for Microsoft certification

yeah, the thought of opening a computer repair store is def still a LOL that'll never happen. Too many headaches and I already work with the public and sometimes they drive me nutz
