Dude, read my posts, por favor. Used veggie oil. Restaurants pay to have it hauled away. They will gladly give it to you free. It's garbage to them. Chain restaurants have contracts with people to haul it, so you hit independants. The chinese place a mile from our house gives us all the oil we can haul away, free.

Anyway, keep coming up with reasons why our fuel alternative isnt feasible and keep paying $3.50 a gallon for your gasoline. I certainly wont mind.

hey, no need to get pissy.
just the economics...with more people doing what you are doing, there is more people knocking on doors to get the used oil.
eventually business owners will wise up and sell it, that's how it works when there is a demand for something.

You don't need a car in NYC either - it's more of a PITA to have one then it is to rent one for the weekend.

Same thing in Chicago, good friend of mine sold his two years after he moved there.

My husband rides his bike whenever the weather allows. Other than that we don't really think about it too much as our vehicles are fairly cost effective.
