What lengths do you go to to save on gas? (if any?)

I'll skip gears. Like, start in first then go 1-3-5, or maybe 1-2-4-6. If I don't have hills to contend with, I'll get into 6th by 35-40 mph. However, my area is almost continuously hilly, so I'm always having grades to deal with. My long-term average fuel economy is up from 22.1 to 23.6.

24.0 and holding.

Nothing, yep, i do nothing..

ok, if i drive some distance, i will take the better mileage car, and have put the Jeep on ebay..

what kind of car is this>

2007 VW GTI. It's got a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. EPA city rating is 21, so I'm beating that by a small margin.

NICE! We just saw a GTI on the road the other day and I pointed out how much I like those cars. I drove a VW Golf 5 spd hatchback in college. that was an awesome little fun car to drive. lots of good memories inthat car.

fill you tires up perfect to spec

also drive behind truck or buses on the freeway since they create a wind barrier hence less resistance
