What Horror Movie Scared You the MOst When You WEre Growing Up?

For me no doubt about it was the first Friday the 13th. I saw it in the theater and it was really the first graphic slasher movie. The music totally tripped you out and it literally scared me so much that I wouldn't go out in the woods without gun so I could kill that scary bitch mother before she could me. I looked like I was a grunt in vienam on my first jungle patrol.

The other scene that got me was when they dude just did the chick and was smoking the joint on the hamic when that scary bitch reached under from under the hamic, grabed his forhead then proceed to stick that arrow through his throat. It looked so damn real. I looked under my bed holding a baseball bat for at least 4 months after seeing that stupid movie. So I swore I would never watch horror again but i have a few times but nothing ever scared me like that movie. Even Halloween wasn't as scary as the first Friday movie imo.

When I was a little kid,I saw this movie called "The Prophecy",about some monsters that were created from toxic waste dumping in some wilderness lake.Them shits would come out of the lake and mutilate folks,and I remember having nightmares and sleeping with the light on for ages after seeing it.I would probably laugh at it's cheesyness now,but at the time it scared the piss out of me.
