When I was 3 or 4 I thought John Carpenter's The Thing and the Hellraiser movies were pretty scary.

When I was a little kid,I saw this movie called "The Prophecy",about some monsters that were created from toxic waste dumping in some wilderness lake.Them shits would come out of the lake and mutilate folks,and I remember having nightmares and sleeping with the light on for ages after seeing it.I would probably laugh at it's cheesyness now,but at the time it scared the piss out of me.

the lake had mercury poisoning in it. it fucked up all the lake critters. giant ass bullfrog and other shit. the prophecy was part bear, part other shit. badass movie. makes me wanna go rent it.

That movie was awesome.

For me it was the color remake of night of the living dead. I was way to young to see it when I did.

You mention some pretty scary ones. The evil dead would have been super scary if it didn't have so much comic relief from the main chacter.

I will not watch Burnt Offerings that movis about the possessed house right? No way. Too freaky I am getting goose bumbs.

ok 1 and 2 lol 3 wasnt as scary
but do any of u remember the killer baby in "its alive"? i dont know why she did it, but my mom took me to see it when i was like 6 and i still remember the baby climbing in the milk truck and the milkman climbing in not knowing the baby was in there, and there was a battle and first there was milk spilling out the back of the truck, then it was blood.......
