We choose where I do my first pin tomorrow

ok im having a couple noob problems here:
1 - i keep getting twitches when i pin then i take it out, change needles and go in again and im usually good. not a big deal i guess? but j/w if im doing something wrong, or hitting nerves is gonna always happen.
2 - like 1/3 of the time ill go to push the pin in, and it will seem way too hard. and really painful. like i have to really stab it in there. it doesnt feel right so i pull out change needles and redo, and everything is good, goes in nice and smooth. i dont get it?
im wasting alot of pins here lol i guess ill get it down soon though.

Maybe you are just tensing up before pinning? I've only had to change one pin and that was a drawing pin because I didn't know if I scrapped it on the outside of the vial before going to put it in so I changed it just in case, haven't had to change pins for injecting, guess I've been lucky thus far.
