smuf, go to a mall and every teenage girl is wearing them with shorts or skirts. they really don't look good but i love them anyway. i wore tight jeans (everyone wears jeans to work on friday now, so i gave in) tucked into my boots, and a brown columbia micro fleece top over a white turtleneck AND a denim jacket. i was dressed for the mountains. too bad my office isn't in the mountains.

they actually originated from surf chicks to warm thier feet after surfing, so Cali is a good location for them.

they have zero arch support in the boot, not good for much more than walking around a mall or long drives.

the materials these are made out of are not designed for cold wet abusive winter conditions.

and for the love of god everyone has a pair do something different already.

dork, i don't go hiking in them. i sit inside with them cause they are warm as fuckles and it's COLD where i live. if you've ever gone skiing, once you come in, you put warm boots on, right? RIGHT???!!!??

anyway, it's friday, it's 'casual day', and i had NO meetings today. i was dressed cute, just warm.

That's what I thought too, but then I know fuck all about fashion. Why anyone would want to go around in Eskimo boots from New Zealand (or is it Australia?), I just don't understand.

So true. WHen I was in Orange County last Christmas at my ex's moms. Every damn teenage chick in the mall was wearing uggs and skirts or shorts. I was like WTF it's fuggin 75 degrees out. Every damn one of em too!
